Have your personalities rubbed off on each other?
It occurred to me this weekend how much more laid back I've become about a lot of things because Scott is SO laid back. And it's weird, he has seem to become more anal about certain things as I've gotten more laid back about them. He's gotten so much more open minded and adventurous about food - he even made the comment the other day that he feels like he's wasted a lot of his life beig afraid of certain foods.
Got me thinking about if this has happened to anyone else - has being around your H so much changed either of your personalities at all?

Stand up for something you believe in.
I've noticed that Jamies organizational skills are vastly improving (yay for me!)
I make a lot of comments about cars that I never would've before. I even caught myself using the term "car-gasm" the other day. Jamie was so proud.
Doug use to be this easy going, let everyone walk all over him type of guy. Me? Not so much. He's been a lot more vocal toward people when they piss him off lately, me included. I'm so proud.
One issue we've been working on in our marriage is that I always need some sort of a plan and I live my life by appointments and dates on a calendar. Doug is much mroe go with the flow, let's see where the day takes us. I've found myself doing that a lot more lately.
Absolutely. In general, I have helped him be more laid back and he has helped me be more organized. I help him go out and socialize more, because he would be perfectly content staying in and watching movies everyday.
I've said this before, but Dave is a neat freak. Now thanks to me he can leave the house without the bed being made (unless people are coming over).
I have adopted some of his sayings, like adding as* to a word. Ex. - hotass* kitchen, long-as* drive. I think his road rage has rubbed off on me, and his has relaxed.
Yes and no. We've always had pretty similar personalities, but I've noticed a few changes.
For example, I'm a lot more outspoken than I used to be. And my patience has waned considerably. On the upside, he is actually more tolerant than he used to be, so I guess we balance each other out. When one of us is in that "mood" the other comes to the rescue with a little patience.
