I found out I failed a project that I worked my azz off on. Apparently I don't know what a mechanical writing error is and 1/2 of the project was completely wrong. This project is part of two other projects and if I don't get at least a 70% on all of them combined, I don't pass the class. The last day to drop the class is this Friday and the professor is giving me the run around on if I should drop or not. Even if I get a 30/30 on the next project, it's not 70%, but I don't want to drop the class if she's going to work with me like she has been.
So good vibes, T&Ps for my professor to be straight with me would be awesome. Also, it would be doubly awesome if this doesn't effect my registration on the 1st. ![]()
Re: I need some good school vibes
Good school vibes coming your way.
Are you going to UWF or PSC? When I was at PSC (then PJC) they had a ton of free tutoring help. I'm not saying you need it but it might be worth looking into if you need help with that project.
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?
BFP-2/25/11; 8 Wk U/S-3/25/11-No HB, measured 6.5 wks; D&C
Nestie vibes work! I just found out that it won't mess with my registration. Hooray!
Now, I just need my professor to help me out.
What kind of class is this?
To be honest, I'm not really sure I understand what you're expecting of your professor at this point. Are you just hoping she gives you a straight answer on the calculations of your grade (because it seems like you already know you can't pass) or are you hoping she changes it?
Considering that she's already been helping you out throughout the semester (I'm drawing this assumption from what you said) I don't really see how changing it would be a reasonable expectation. A professor can only do so much and be fair to other students.
I'm not expecting her to change it at all. The grade is there, there's no changing that and it would not be fair at all if she did change it. I'm just getting the run around on the 70% and I need to know if my calculations are right and if she thinks I need to drop or not. Grades are never done on a 100% scale anymore so I don't know if I'm figuring it out right or not. Also, she just emailed me again that she put the wrong grade down and also didnt upload my correct feedback, so my calculations are wrong anyways.
Its curriculum assessment.
