Re: Thankful Tuesday
i am thankful that i got to spend time with one of my best friends and that i finally got to meet her partner who seems to be a great guy. she's been in some abusive relationships in the past so a good guy is long overdue.
i am thankful that we don't have guests visiting for awhile. love seeing my friends but it is a little exhausting to host twice in one month.
i am thankful that one month from right now DH & i will be celebrating thanksgiving in barcelona!
I am happy that my sister got engaged over the weekend. Her fiance is great, they are happy and my sister is super excited about wedding planning!
I am thankful that I have people looking out for me at work. I am making a lateral move but getting a pay raise and my new boss is cool. Plus, more flexibility and more security.
I'm thankful for my lunch out today. I rarely go out to lunch, so this was a nice treat. Plus I had a coupon!
I'm also thankful for the beautiful day outside- it was nice to walk around and see the horses at lunch (I'm near the Verizon Center... horse show this week there in case anyone is wondering).

I am thankful that DH got an outstanding review and is being considered for a promotion.
I'm thankful we got to see some family friends this weekend who live in NY. It's always fun to see people who you have seen in months where you pick up the conversation like you never left it.
I am thankful that, even though we hold off on setting up the appointments for ages out of sheer inertia, the home improvements we've had to make recently haven't been nearly as extensive or expensive as we feared/assumed.
