Random Presidential Election Question
I know we have a few conservatives on here, so I have to ask: Why would anyone want to vote for Rick Perry?
Out of the Republican Presidential Candidates he doesn't seem like a top contender imo. He reminds me of a GW Bush II.
But what do I know, I'm just a disgruntled Hillary '08 supporter who will probably vote Nader again in '12

Re: Random Presidential Election Question
Well I'm very liberal myself, but there are still a lot of deluded people who LIKED GW. I can't understand it myself.
Best sound ever: baby's heartbeat! (Heard @ 10w1d)
I haven't been impressed with any of the new candidates as of yet. It just seems like they're on a tirade to get Obama out of office and they don't care what they do or how they look doing it.

I'm a conservative, but along the lines of fiscally conservative and socially liberal. I also tend to identify as a libertarian. Rick Perry is basically my polar opposite. I can't stand the guy.
I'm seriously hoping Romney can make it through the primaries though.

...Isn't Romney the one who wants to outlaw all birth control that could even potentially cause a fertilized egg to not implant because he thinks it's an abortifacient -- including the Pill, Ring, and other methods of hormonal birth control?
I mean, I don't use HBC myself, but that's just ridiculous.
I dislike lawmakers legislating what I do with my body and my reproductive choices in the first place, but legislating on things they very plainly do not have any understanding of? Hell no.
