Re: IRL Friends
Most of the women I hang out with now I met through playgroups. My core group of friends conist of about 5 girls and we are all moms except one. The one who is not a mom is a long-time friend of mine.
Loud, dirty, and caring
Like I said, I have a core group of friends, but I have a lot of acquaintances and not-as-close friends.
ETA: By dirty, I mean dirty-minded. We aren't actually dirty. HA!

How do you know most of them? They're related to me. Or a mish-mash of college, work, and through DH.
If you had to use three words to describe you and your friends what would they be? Fun, Witty, Dependable
And, finally, are you the type of person who has a few close friends or a the type of person who has lots of friends?
I have a lot of casual acquaintance type friends who I'd be glad to go out with or have a good time with. I have very few friends who I consider true close friends-- the type I would tell a deep secret to, share a bottle of wine with in our pajamas, or trust to take care of my kids, etc.
Most of my friends are my relatives... sounds lame, I know... but game night with our sisters, my bro, our cousins, his aunt and uncle ... can't think of a better time to be had. Outside of the family, I maybe have 3 people I would consider a close friend.
High school. Either they were my friends in high school or they're the wives of guys that we went to school with. It's kind of odd since we live an hour away from our high school but that's just the way it worked out and I love'em.
Comfortable, inappropriate, fun
Both. I have two girls that I would consider my best friends but there are other girls I definitely call up to go shopping or to hang out with on a Friday night.
How do you know most of them? High School, even though 2 of them I've just recently "met" though we did go to the same school.

And, finally, are you the type of person who has a few close friends or a the type of person who has lots of friends? I have 2-3 close friends, but quite a few not as close friends who I could hang out with on any given day.
Loyal, Riot, Loud
I am the type of person who has a few close friends, and I like it that way. I'm not big into the social thing (surprise!) - in fact I've always been pretty low key. I enjoy my family, and that's why my best friends, are also realatives. They've been through everything with me. Friend, friends are the 3 girls I work with.
How do you know most of them? I always feel like I have two groups of friends... my closest are from college but they don't live around here. My local friends I've met through church/sports/the gym.

And, finally, are you the type of person who has a few close friends or a the type of person who has lots of friends? Both I think. With my local friends, I don't feel like any of them are all that close, but I have a lot of social circles. But I really have 3 girl friends I can talk to about anything-they just live too far away to see regularly.
How do you know most of them? Church sunday school class. we have lunch together almost every week and see at least one other couple throughout the week normally.

And, finally, are you the type of person who has a few close friends or a the type of person who has lots of friends? I have always had a few close friends and more acquaintances. DH and I have another group of 'friends' that were our first friends around here, but we don't have much in common with them anymore (they are all big into video/board games) so sometimes I'm DH's DD so he can hang out and drink. I think he knows I'm over that though
Highschool
outgoing, honest, reliable
My sister is my bff. I have one other close friend I met through work 6 years ago. Then I have 2 groups of close girlfriends; 5 girls in each group, both from high school. These people I consider to be close friends and we would do anything for each other and share our secrets good and bad. Other than that, I have a few aqaintances, but I would only call one of the ppl listed above to hang out etc.
Of my closest friends, two are bffs from high school, the other two are coworkers
