I'm dying to know over here.
Gotta find out if operation unload boy clothes is still a go
thanks to jennied
I was wondering! I hope it happens soon for you mama!
Being overdue totally sucks. Hang in there.
And yes, I should find out this afternoon.
So after more big dramz with my doctor's office, I switched doctors again. (Yes, I know I'm crazy, but I wanted to actually SEE my doctor/surgeon more than one time the entire pregnancy before being sliced.) And I'm SO glad I did.
Anyway, definitely a boy, definitely huge (the u/s won't even measure the head properly, I guess, because it's "off the charts"), cute chubby-fat cheeks and c-section will be Friday the 11th. 2 weeks and 4 days. :::breathes into paper bag:::
'grats on your peen
Ugh. Sorry about the drama. Hopefully this one is better for you. Did you decide against VBAC? Either way, congrats on finding out he really is a he. What a weird situation. I would've freakedthefuckout if we were this late in the game and then there were questioning the sex of the baby. You really will do great. No freaking out. Once they start interacting you'll be a total believer! Owen just has to make a face at Amelie and she starts belly laughing. Cutest thing I've ever seen. (bias noted)
With the other practice (and one of the reasons I originally switched), I could've done a VBAC and planned to if he came, say, between 36-38 weeks. After that, I probably would've just done the c-section. This office (well, actually the hospital) doesn't "do" VBACs, so I don't have a choice. But, I have already resigned to the fact that surgery will probably be my best option.
Thanks for the encouragement. I'm seriously freaking out about everything right now. I've only been awake for an hour and a half and I'm on my third crying episode. God help me!
Awwww - the last two weeks are the worst! Soak up your only child, that's my best advice. That blows about the VBAC, but better to be safe, you know that. And if you happen to go a bit early - 11/10 is a fantastic bday (I should know, it's mine
. I will cross my fingers for you.
thanks to jennied
11/11/11??!!! AWESOME!
Yes, super awesome, but more than a cool b-day, I'm excited H will now get two "free" days off work (since c-section will be on Friday instead of Monday)! This is all providing he doesn't come before that, of course, and I do not want him to (Sorry, Teresa; I got shiit to DO!).
Daily crying episodes are normal after, oh, 32 weeks
You'll do great, J!
