Ok, who is interested in doing some kind of "recipe" of the week swap idea thing?
I am making this up, so we can decide how it should work, but I thought it would be fun for us to pick a "recipe of the week" and we all agree to make it and review it...
We could take turns sharing a tried and true recipe with the group, and everyone can give it a shot and then share how it went (photos, SO reviews, etc).
Maybe we could do a different theme each week, like...
-Vegetarian
-Around the world (different cuisine each week like Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Thai, Indian)
-Five ingredients or less
-Crockpot
The goal would also be for these to be HEALTHY recipes with normal ingredients that folks could find in their usual grocery store. Extra emphasis on healthy here, this idea came up in the daily healthy living thread :-)
Thoughts? Anyone interested?
Re: Cooking/Recipe Swap
2012 Reading Challenge
I like this idea, but how would the logistics of it work?
For example, I like the idea of a theme each week...but then how would we narrow down the actual recipe we all make? Would we all contribute recipes the week before and do a clicky poll of what recipe we want to make?
Or could we do it ala NOTD style and have a rotating schedule of who would submit a recipe each week?
Blog
Ok, so maybe this first week (starting next full week for cooking, this week for recipe collection) we post our favorite healthy crockpot recipe and then people pick from the list and make it next week!
This is my favorite idea, but I would like to participate in anything!

I love this idea too. I have tons of tried and true recipes that I would love to share with the group!!
I like Mary's idea so we have more variety.
You know me, I'm always down to try a new healthy recipe and I love to share mine too!
