I was talking to a girl at work and she was talking about a board she?s on and how it?s proper etiquette to introduce you. I really didn?t know this since I never posted on the Knot, hopefully better late than never.
Anyways I?m Kristin and I married Jim last September, we live downriver and hopefully moving soon, I keep crossing my fingers for Livonia but he thinks it?s to city/busy. We have no kids just two lab mixes (Bear, chocolate and Millie, black) that we adopted. They are the best!
Anyways just wanted to say hi!

I've lived in Livonia for most of my life so I could probably tell you anything you need/want to know about the place. If your husband thinks that Livonia is too busy, then definitely stay away from the Canton area... that's even worse in my opinion.

As a Nestie who lives in Canton, I agree . . .Canton is very city/busy with all the shopping and stuff!
I grew up in Garden City, so I went to Livonia all the time! I love Livonia. What keeps drawing me to it is that they have one of the best school systems in the state (keeping the future baby in mind). And when I say ?to city? it means there isn?t too many lots with an acre plus of land. Anyways were in a debate between Livonia (future babies education) and Brownstown/Rockwood (super country, w/ staying in a reasonable commute time for both our works) what a pickle.
