we go to DH's aunts house in Queens every year. I usually bring dessert and try to bring something different b/c his other aunts do the typical, apple, pumpkin and pecan pies.

this year we will be at inlaws for thanksgiving and switching out and going to my parents for christmas.

We're heading back to the midwest to see my family. And meet my step-father's fiancee (you know, the one he started dating 4 months after my mom died and has now moved into their house). Yeah, we're staying at a hotel from now on when we visit. Did I mention I'm not really looking forward to this? I hope you all have better plans than mine!

We host Thanksgiving at our house. It's my family (parents, maybe brother, grandparents, aunt, uncle, cousin), MIL, FIL, GMIL, and this year we're adding my mom's bff, her mom, and her daughter and husband. It's the only holiday we'd have to split and I'd rather not so we host. Everyone brings something and my mom comes over and helps me since cooking isn't really my thing ha

Well I was going to host my parents and IL's but since WWIII we have chosen against it and I'm not sure whether we will be going to cracker barrel with my parents, just have my parents at our house, or have bfast with my family then go to faux Aunt's house where all the IL's will be. I usually bring desert wherever we go except for faux Aunt's house because the one year I brought 3 deserts she also supplied 10 pies soooo a bottle of wine it is if we go there and even then I think last time I dropped it on the path walking into their house

We host for my family. Unfortunately, lol. Should be interesting this year. My family doesn't seem too concerned with my pregnancy even though it's the first in our family. Real nice, huh?

Going the to Macy's Parade with Jack and my family. Then to DH's aunts house for dinner. Charlotte will stay with ILs while at parade and we will meet them afterwards. Go back to my family for desert most likely.

Eventually when my sister marries BIL either her or I will host and everyone will come together. I hate splitting.

Everyone will be at our house! It's gonna be a busy Thanksgiving. I'm looking forward to it, I just hope I like to eat meat by then. I love turkey, but the thought of eating it makes me wanna barf!

Thought since we bought a house we would host it! But I am sooooooooo not ready to have that many people over.

We'll be headed to my parents, as usual. My brother and SIL will be in town for Thanksgiving this year, which will be nice. I'm not sure what I'm making yet. I usually bring an appetizer and a dessert of some sort, but I'll talk to my mom between now and then and see what she'd like!

We are hosting. We figured we should since we've been in our house a little over 2 years. I'm a bit nervous because it's a lot of people (16 adults, 7 kids, 1 baby, and 1 dog). I'm working on the menu and I'll have people bring stuff too.

For the past 2 years we have been celebrating with DH's friends family (he's Aidens godfather). We go to his grandma's house and celebrate with their whole family. We are very close with them, they are like family to us. I'm almost positive we are going there again this year, have to check with DH

We are upstairs at my in-laws this year. After everyone settles in, there are usually about 30 of us total. I am not a big fan. I prefer my families that is just the7 of us. Nice and intimate, cooking with my mom & watching football and the parade. But with marriage comes compromise so it is his families year.

I have hosted before and loved it!

I am making my mothers stuffing and candied yam balls.

We always always go to my parents since D & I have been together. Well this is the first year he is actually off on Thanksgiving & insists we go to his Aunt's dts. Obviously we're going since we've never gone & we've gone to my side every year. I am not soo thrilled. While i love his aunt & all his family really i am a very picky eater. Therefore after dinner dts we will go to my parents for "dessert" but in reality that is when i will be eating my meal! .... I am an evil person (hangs head in shame) lol

Jay is working this year too Im hoping to catch a ride with his Dad to Queens so i dont have to drive. I really do enjoy spending Thanksgiving with his side, mine is way to quiet, LOL

I'm pretty sure we're going to BIL's house. We usually host Christmas, because Thanksgiving is usually awkward. I love Thanksgiving, but it's not the same at their house. Every year I have hope and every year I'm shot down.

looks like we're heading to MA to spend it with my sister. my parents and some extended family will likely be there too.

first time in years i won't be rockland for it.

and as i'll be driving that day, i don't plan to contribute anything to help - lol! it's my sister - she understands, and she's too much of a control freak with entertaining to let me do anything other than bring a bottle of wine and dh's favorite iced tea. and she'll probably tell me which wine too. haha
