Help me shop...please
We're taking photos in two weeks and I am convinced I have nothing to wear that doesn't resemble a suit. Since I'm usually hardest to please, and boys are easy to shop for, I'm going to find my clothes first and then we'll figure out something for C & J.
Jeans for sure, but outside of that...I'm clueless. I do have a short sleeve linen-type suit jacket that I thought I could pair with jeans, and something bright underneath for color and maybe some fun shoes. But I really have no clue and I'm a terrible shopper.

This. We're doing them this Sunday and I'm panicked. I think I'm going to wear this. DH is wearing jeans and a button down and DD is wearing a smocked dress with blue/orange to tie us together. For the family pic, they're wearing browns and whites so I'm clueless but need to get on it. DD has a dress and DH is easy, it's just me.

I think that outfit is super cute...I just don't have the shape for it! And I'm not a skirt wearer. I feel more comfortable in slacks for work and jeans for not-work. I just thought the jacket would help with my shape...or lack of right now.
I may have to look at BR though for something fallish in color.
FWIW Kreeper, I think you look fantastic in everything I have seen you wear. You are too hard on yourself.

I dress for my shape. You know, the fruit where everything lands right out front. :-) I am super hard on myself. In my head, I want an outfit with skinny jeans, a longer top & boots...but I'm not 100% convinced skinny jeans are what I need.
