I'm going to the hospital tonight...my midwife really thinks I should try Cervidil at this point and so do I.
I've been having frequent and painful contractions for a couple of days, but my cervix hasn't really changed much in the last 4 weeks.
I'm hoping the Cervidil will do something! I really wanted to go into labor on my own, but I don't know if it's going to happen at this point:(
I'll take any t&p's you have to give:)
Re: Baby update
So sorry! Thinking about you.
If it makes you feel better, a friend of mine had to be induced last week. She went into the hospital at 6am, and the baby was born at 12:30pm. I've always heard being induced slows labor, but apparently not.
Thanks girls!:)
It may not even bring on labor, so I could be going home in the morning....I hope not though!

Stand up for something you believe in.
Hoping Cervadil brings results and if it does that you have a great delivery. Good luck!
My plan was set with Cervadil in mind, however, when I got there I was 3cm and they said I didnt need it. I know its crazy but I wish I would have waited to go into Actual labor. I know crazy. I didnt mind much until the water broke, then I just went ahead with the epidural. A friend of mine went in this week also didnt need cervadil, but started petocin at 7:30am and had the baby at 1:01- I started petocin at 7:30pm and delivered at 9:10.
Good luck lady! I cant wait to see your cutie
Good luck hon! Just remember that all that matters in the end is that you and your beautiful little girl are healthy. Just go with the flow! That's the best advice I can give you.
Can't wait to see pics and find out the name!
I'd love to get there and hear that I don't need the Cervadil (or Pitocin for that matter). If the Cervadil does nothing, I can opt to go home (as long as baby is ok) or have Pitocin if I want.
My midwife just isn't sure I'll labor on my own even if we wait longer. My cervix is not doing much and baby is sunny side up, which isn't helping matters! Then I'm having painful contractions on top of it all. Very frustrating!
Thanks for all your t&p's!:)

We were teh same way- sunny side up... and had a cord wrapped... it is a piece of cake... just take a laptop or something to keep you busy. I watched Easy A and a few other shows on Netflix streaming to get me through the wait.
Good tip! We'll definitely do that!:)
Thanks all:)
