What is everyone doing? We were supposed to volunteer at Honeymoon Island for their spooky trail thingy but the contact person hasn't emailed me back (after four attempts on my part). I am making a red tutu for Bean to go with her wings. Cutest fairy ever.

We are going to a big (adult) Halloween party on Saturday, which I am super excited about. We don't get a babysitter very often, and all our close friends are going. I am part of a group costume this year, which I've never done before.
On actual Halloween, we are will be going to St Armands with a friend and her two kids for the festivities they have there.
Baby Macy is here!

Man, if i wasn't on bedrest I would so go to this. Boo
haha i was thinking the same thing! actually i may be weird but i hope it waits until november.. idk why but i dont like the halloween birthday thing!
No big plans - no costumes, no parties, no pumpkin carving. We are lame this year.
We do finally live in an apartment building that sets up trick-or-treating for the kiddies, so we're planning to stay home and pass out candy, assuming we actually get trick-or-treaters. If not, we'll just stay home and eat lots of candy.

At this point, I just want her OUT. lol. My blood pressure has gone down, so I need to accept the fact that she probably won't arrive til November.

awww hang in there- we are so close!!! its been so fun having a due date twin
and yes its true that 1st timers are almost always like at least 3 days late... but you never know! try lots of walking, and lots of sex... lol
ive been taking that evening primrose oil and drinking red raspberry leaf tea.. and idk if it has anything to do with anything but its supposed to soften the cervix and help tone the uterus (it wont put you into labor until you are ready though- just prepare your body for it) and as of today in 1cm, 50% effaced and -1/0 station with lots of ctxs (non painful but still).. so if you are looking at an induction in the future you can try that to help maybe?? im on the books for a nov 9th induction if im late... but i reaallllllllly hope to go into labor on my own!!!
Last night was supposed to be the kids' Halloween party and tonight was supposed to be the adult one, but because the crowned prince died last week everything had to be postponed. Now the adult party is on Saturday night. If we were in the States that would be perfect, but here Saturday night is our Monday night and we have to go to work the next day and then the kids' party was rescheduled for Sunday so we'll be out late again on another work night. Plus, we're both going to be working today and tonight (even though it's the weekend here) so I don't know if I'll be able to stay awake for the party.
On a positive note, I'm looking forward to wearing my peacock costume that you guys picked out for me. While we can't exactly take the kids trick or treating on Monday, DD gets to wear her costume to school so she's happy about that.
What are you doing over there? I don't know if I remember. I thought about doing a peacock costume, actually. But I think we're just going to stay home this year and let Bean go crazy around the house in her fairy outfit.
You mean in KSA? We work in the Embassy. It's been an interesting week.
I'd love to see pictures of your little fairy. She must be getting so big!
Yeah, I wasn't sure what you were doing when you mentioned your work week.
She is getting big. Her personality is the size of Texas. She is growing up too fast. Way too fast.
