F/U: My Gym Boston-> Ladyextravaganza
So DS had a lot of fun. The place was very clean. They had trampolines, soft stairs, small ball pit, swings. There was a small rock wall, jungle gym things, ball and ride on toys.
He is in the tiny tikes class (7 mos to 13 mos) and two women ran the class. The kids roamed and had free play for about 10 mins. They we did circle time (songs and stretches for LO), some practice tumbling, more free play. One staff memeber had each kid climb up a ramp with a rope and then hang on a bar (DS loved this). Then there were swings, a big swing on a pulley that ran through the class, puppet time.
The membership cost is 1/2 off if you join on the trial day (so $37.50), then if you get a referral its $20 off the first 4 weeks (so $74) then $94 each month after that billed to your credit card. There is also open play (in Boston its 3 days/week) which is free if you are currently enrolled in a class.
I did join, because after watching DS interact with the kids his own age, I realized he needed to play with kids his own age and tumble around. You could always call and do a trial class.
If you ever need a referral and don't know anyone who's LO is there, PM me and you can use me (we both save $20 odd a month of tuition). HTH!

That sounds awesome! Still crazy expensive, though, huh? Maybe I'll call for a trial class. My problem is, I'll go for the trial class, join, then my H will be like Huh? Didn't we join the Y? lol
I will probably sign DS up for a class at the Y and if I don't like it, I'll try MyGym. I will DEFINITELY let you know if I do so we can both save $!
