I've finally come to terms with the fact that if I want to wear nice pants, I will have to buy them too long and have them hemmed to fit my runty height.
I've previously taken pants to... I don't even remember the name of it --just the tailor shop in the Roseville Mall. They were fast and cheap, but also surly and unhelpful. That was a while ago, and I will probably end up giving them another shot.
BUT if anyone has recommendations for a great place to take pants to be hemmed, let me know! Preferably near-ish St. Paul/Roseville area...
Thanks!
Re: Tailor? Hemming pants
I've heard great things about Tom's Tailor on Grand Ave. I have a suit to bring there soon myself (take the skirt up from mid calf to just below the knee to make it more youthful).
I've also used the folks in Rosedale and wasn't totally thrilled with the experience. I needed a zipper replaced and I thought it was much higher in price than it should have been for something pretty easy.

Thank you for asking this. I too have clothes I'd like to have tailored to fit better, but had no idea where to take them and have been too lazy to find somewhere.
This is going to sound silly, but do you have to make an appointment for this kind of thing or is it walk-in?
Anyone know if he has a website?
