Hopefully #10 will help this house sell despite the fact that its priced about 500K over what it's worth!

  • LOL! What are these people thinking??

    Isn't that unreal!

    And the pictures are just the first issue, the house is also WAY overpriced for the market.  They either have an inexperienced real estate agent or the agent has client control issues.  OR they took out a home equity loan and are so far upside down that they have to sell it for more than it's worth.

  • I was shocked when I saw the >$200/square foot! We bought our house for around $75. How much should a house like that go for?
    The pups!
  • I'm just not getting over there are 2 photos with family members (I'm assuming) in the MLS listings. I doubt they come with the house...or do they??

    What makes this house valuable is the land since land is a hot commodity here.  And yes, that's a big lot here in Vegas (anything over 1/2 acre is considered large).  Just a few miles to the east there's a large guard gated neighborhood of "older" homes (relative to other Vegas homes)  where a house like this would go for $400K or so.  With this home in this location in this condition, I think it would go for less than $100 a square foot, probably around $350K max.

  • Well, the Z estimate (if it means anything at all) says about 1/3 of the asking price: http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/313-Lacy-Ln-Las-Vegas-NV-89107/7013483_zpid/#{scid=hdp-site-map-list-address}
