Still home sick but finally recuperating. Just made myself a variation on pork paprikash, which has sauteed onions, coconut oil, paprika, pepper, and sliced pork. Apparently onions are actually helping in boosting immune systems, so good for sick recovery. And I'm weird, but I totally love them. DH also made me homemade chicken gluten free chicken noodle soup, and homemade hot and sour soup, both of which also really helped me feel better.
So yes, random post. But what are your favorite sicky foods.

Yep, I have celiac. I found out about 2 years ago, and it's been seriously life changing.
I also eat primal/paleo, which makes a big difference in feeling even better. Actually, this past month (starting a few days before the wedding, continuing on the honeymoon and after) I've been slacking on the paleo eating (having corn, etc.), and I've been feeling much worse/plus it's clearly impacting my immune system because this is the worst sickness I've had since I cut out gluten.
this makes sense. both the hot and sour soup and chicken noodle soup were quite salty and just what I needed.
I love jasmine rice with butter.

Also, I forgot how much I missed Jasmine rice until I went to my parent's house the other night. We usually just get whatever is at Safeway and my mom says she has to get it at PCC or something. Totally going there soon because it's SO good!
