Since it's so slow, what's for dinner?
We're having leftover Salmon with Lemon Compound Butter and probably rice.

I'm making "Shrimp Pasta in a Foil Package" by the Pioneer Woman.

I only had really good white wine that I wasn't going to use in my sauce, so I added vodka, lots of red pepper flakes and whole wheat pasta. We're also having spinach salad with a red pepper olive oil and vinegar.

Do you make your own? I love Marie Calendar's chicken pot pies, but I'm afraid to make my own! lol

Yes, but I do it the cheater way. I usually use whatever veggies I have around (carrots, celery, peas, etc), some leftover chicken, and a can of cream of potato soup. Then I cover it with the frozen puff pastry sheets and eggwash it. 30 mins in the oven and it's heavenly deliciousness.
Tonight I didn't have any cream of potato soup, so I made gravy with caramelized onions, chicken bouillon, flour, and white wine. Even yummier, but more work.
