I think mine is more of a FFFC...but oh well!
My H has a company event this weekend at the Vinoy. They reserved everyone rooms for Friday and Sat nights. Friday is the awards and dinner, Saturday is more of a party. I'm so excited to go but at the same time it's a PIA!
I haven't found a dress for the first night yet, and can't find shoes until I find the dress. I still need to get H new shoes, a new shirt, and maybe a tie. I hope I can find it all today!
Then, because my dog is so crazy no one will watch him and the Vinoy does not allow animals. So, we get to drive back Sat. morning to make sure he has water, new pads and food. Then drive back to the Vinoy for the party.
Re: WTF Wed, anyone?
I truly can't imagine not being able to do anything bc of a dog. I love my dogs, but omg.
Can you find someone else to come and let your dog out? We hire someone to come and stay at our house - obviously not everyone is comfortable with that, but someone could at least come let him out for a few minutes.
Agreed. Some of you girls are nuts.
WTF: I have work issues today. And I'd rather just go sit at a cafe and sip hot chocolate and eat a cupcake, watching the world pass by. Ugh.
He goes on a pad, so the problem is with getting in the house without him getting out. Yes, I know it is a PIA, that we have created, but, at this point it is what it is. I wish we had a fence, but we don't. As soon a he hears the door, he runs out, H has a hard time getting him, DD might be able to but we never tried!
If he small enough to use a pad, can't he be baby gated somewhere? Kitchen? That way he has enough room, his pads, food, toys, etc., but also can't just bolt? Or you could you put up a gate/barrier at the front door?
I would have sold your dog for magic beans at this point. You guys are crazy.
Oh dear.
So everyday you have to deal w/ the dog escaping? What kind of dog is he?
What about training? I don't mean to criticize - My dogs are not prefect by any stretch of the imagination - Diva pees on the floor out of spite, and Wyatt digs holes in the yard looking for rocks. ..
"at this point it is what it is" I don't necessarily think that has to be true.
WTF #1: I hate that we are looking to buy a house here. My heart is not in this at all.
WTF #2: Our complex raised our rates again for the new lease. We've been here three years and it's gone up every single time. New residents are getting hardwood floors (well, composite or pergo... whatev.) And we asked to have the same upgrade and were denied.
what about a boarding facility? We take ours to the vet and they do a great job with them.

Haha! I was going through listings today and say a picture of an alligator in a pond someone's backyard. I just kept thinking... Is that really incentive to buy your house? Really?
Hahahaha!!!!! I love this because I know it is true
And it was quite comical to read your response after reading the others!

Don't buy a house here. It is a commitment for a very long period of time. This has bad idea written all over it.
When my mom first moved to Florida she was one of "those" people, chasing the gators to feed them.
