that if i didn't convert to his religion then my marriage was doomed...from various people. all of them are creepy-church-obsessed women who don't do anything but devout their lives to church and put their husband on a pedestal.
and my SIL. who is single.

DH's aunt and uncle gave us a book on how to keep your marriage strong. Said uncle was married before and had a child by another woman then married his current wife and has spent the better part of the past 20 years cheating on her.
