Re: (@) co-sleeper fans
meh.
IMHO, there's nothing going on here that wouldn't be going on in a regular bassinet... it's just taller.
when we went to cosleeping, it was because DH kept waking up with the transitioning from BF'ing in my arms to being put down in the bassinet next to our bed.
The Arms' Reach, and just bed-sharing, allow you to nurse in a side-lying position, so that you don't have to put baby down after they fall asleep nursing...
KWIM?
I am the 99%.
I like the Arm's Reach big-size cosleeper more, because it's more versatile. In fact, we never even bothered to get Sam a real crib. He still sleeps in the arm's reach, but with it set up as a regular pack n play. In a few months when he outgrows it, we'll get him a regular toddler bed. The bassinet in the picture is super cute, but it wouldn't last very long.
You need to tell your DH you're not nursing him to sleep anymore.

ok yeah. I think my obsession is try to find things that have extra "uses" so that I feel like they are worth the $$ and so that I feel like they would "enhance" whatever lifestyle you have. lol. Can you just "slide" the baby over after nursing or do people nurse the kid as they sleep in the armsreach?
