I swear Revenge gets better and better each week (10/26 spoilers)
DDDDDDDDDAAAAAANNNNNGGGGG.
Tyler is a creepo. I really am thinking he came on his own and he is after Daniel, esp after his "lay down little child" stunt.
Nolan kinda seems like he's going to team frank in the previews....uh oh!
She didn't really "take anybody down" in this episode...well unless you count Frank..kinda.
Lydia survived that fall?!
Super cute that Jack moved the swing for Emily....makes me think he is starting to have an idea of who she is...even if it is without him realizing it.
Charolette + Declan is cute.
Can't say it enough....Tyler is a creepo. Super creepo. Ick.
Thoughts??
Re: I swear Revenge gets better and better each week (10/26 spoilers)
I was very surprised Nolan walked up to Emily after Frank confronted him. Way too obvious, but I guess he was too freaked out to think?
I also couldn't believe they made Lydia survive the fall.
Tyler...agreed...WTF is this guy doing? Was he trying to get with Daniel?
And poor Jack...poured his heart out to Emily and you could tell she felt the same way, but it would get in the way of her little mission.

This episode was so good-I didn't want it to end!
Tyler really needs to be exposed. I want to know what his deal is.
I was surprised Grayson fired Frank. Frank knows too much and is too resourceful. I hope Nolan doesn't go to his side but I think he'll be faithful to Emily. He approaches her at the engagement party from the Pilot so I feel like they remain tag-teaming the whole time. Or at least I hope so.
Ugh, I just want to know what's going on with Tyler and why he's meddling.
That's what it seemed like to me too! It had a very "drug you and take advantage of you" vibe. It was creepy. Then when he was all over Daniel and Daniel yelled and pushed him off, he snapped and got extremely pissed.
I also agree about the Jack and Emily thing. It was so heartbreaking. You could tell she felt the same way, which also makes me feel really bad for Daniel. He seems to be a decent guy and he's really falling for her. I wish he didn't have to be part of her revenge plan.

Tyler is a HUGE creeper! It does appear that he has a thing for Daniel. That whole scene was bizzarro. I'm glad Emily called him on his crap, I wish others would wake up and smell the con man. Looks like Nolan figures something out about him next week, can't wait!
I missed something in the episode about Conrad having Emily's dad take the fall for him. So, he's the one that laundered the money? What does it have to do with the plane crash? I still can't decide if Victoria helped frame him for Conrad or if she was forced to b/c of their affair.
The scene with Emily and Jack broke my heart.
i didn't think this weeks was the best but i still loved it!
also can't believe that lydia survived the fall. interesting to see how that plays out. if she wakes up, remembers anything, etc.
so i can't figure it out- were frank and victoria having an affair?? she seemed so cold to him when he tried to kiss her in the kitchen...but since he did try it makes me think something had been going on there?
like everyone else, i think tyler is SO creepy!! i can't figure him out but it seems that he clearly doesn't have money (from the convo at dinner when emily called him out) so maybe he is trying to expose the graysons and get money from them or something? WTF with him bashing his head on the tree...and drugging daniel. SO WEIRD!
i thought it was a little strange that ashley got so mad at emily over the tyler thing. seems she has "fallen" for him, i suppose!
i like jack and think he is super sweet and all but i REALLY like daniel. maybe i just think he is cuter or something...but he seems so sweet. like someone said last week, i keep hoping that he really didn't die in the pilot and he was just sleeping on the beach...bloody. ha.
i felt bad for daniel when emily was talking (like her thoughts) and she didn't feel guilty for sleeping with him/using him and everything...it was just in her plan.
clearly amanda is into jack but emily can't be. the swing thing was really sweet.
as far as nolan goes- i think he will help emily/amanda the entire time. i love his character. i think he was freaked out at the party which is why he went up to emily. plus, it adds to the supense of frank stalking emily!
i still hate declan. every singe episode he drives me crazy! how old is he supposed to be? he is really selfish and an ass, imo.
I wonder if Frank will be able to find much on Emily because he didn't find much when he was looking for Victoria. If his attempt to kiss her in the kitchen indicates an affair and Conrad is right that he's been more faithful to her, I'd think he'd dig as hard as possible to find stuff for her.
Conrad will probably regret firing Frank. The guy is dangerous both on what he knows about them (everything!) and what he's capable of doing (anything!).
Tyler's attempt to rape (?) Daniel was super creepy. He confuses me a little, and I wonder what his whole motive is. From the beginning I've thought he liked Daniel as more than a friend, wanted his money and possibly wanted to ruin him. I'm still questioning that. It doesn't seem to work together.
I think Nolan was definitely just too freaked out about the attempted shooting when he approached Emily.
Also, I think Emily is falling for Daniel. The episode last week almost made her sound like she had no feelings in the voiceover, but I think Emily thinks she's tougher emotionally than she really is.
Whew! That was long and my first post on the show, but I was glad to see a bunch of you watching it, too.
This show is great and isn't going anywhere! You should def catch up On Demand, Hulu, or ABC.com. You won't regret it.

My guess is Nolan isn't going to go Team Frank. At least in the way the previews show. I bet he's going to go to Frank and really but a wrench in things but he'll take any suspicion away from Emily. Nolan promised Emily's father he'd take care of her, and he seems pretty bent on doing so. Although I'm not sure why she's pushing Jack in Emily's direction since he knows she's with Daniel (even if it is for revenge).
I like Charolette adn Declan too. I'm glad she doesn't care about the money.
After this week's episode I'm pretty sure Tyler came on his own reasoning. I can't decide if it's after Daniel or Daniel's trust fund yet. I haven't decided if he's just jealous of Daniel, or really just wants to be with him.
Besides Frank, I'm glad she didn't take anyone down this week. I've been wondering how long this show is going to last if someone from the picture is ruined every week. I know they don't always show the entire picture, so they can add more characters if necessary, but I think the show would get old after a while if someone got ruined every single episode.
Good call!

def good call!!
I think Tyler secretly has nothing. His family lost their money (if they ever had it) so he needs to glom onto Daniel. But if Daniel is busy with Emily, he wont help Tyler out.
He is also slightly bent in his mind. maybe has a bit of a stalker=ish tendency with Daniel too.
I was glad when Emily called him out at the dinner.
I think Daniel is nice enough, but Emily and Daniel dont connect like she does with Jack.
and totally agree that Declan needs to grow up.

I agree with everything everyone has said so far about creepy Tyler. My husband came up with a few theories why he's being such a creeper:
1) Tyler is gay and in love with Daniel and is ldoing the crazy stalker thing. If he can't have Daniel- no one can.
2) Tyler was/is in love with the cocktail waitress/ex girlfriend that Daniel was in a serious accident with. Tyler may believe that if he was with her she wouldn't be hurt like she was and they would be able to live in their happy ending world. He hates Daniel for it and is trying to destroy his life like he accidently destroyed hers.

Aaaaah! I love this show!
I hope Tyler gets it next week. I HATE that guy! Based upon the dinner convo with Emily, he's definitely lying about something - maybe everything. But ever since he started giving her the stink eye over her relationship with Daniel, I thought maybe he had a thing for Daniel himself. It's all so odd, but I can't wait for him to be gone.
I can't believe Lydia survived that fall and can't wait to see if/when she wakes up and what she remembers.
Conrad was a total idiot to fire Frank. He saw the video. He knows what he's capable of. Did he think he'd just go quietly?!
I don't think Frank and Victoria had an affair, but I think he's been interested in her and was clearly looking out for her more than Conrad (ie, telling her about the transfer to Lydia's account). I think he was hoping he could take Victoria away with him when he appeared in her kitchen, but she won't leave the life she has with Conrad.
I didn't see previews because I watched on Hulu, but I can't imagine Nolan working with Frank. I imagine whatever he's doing, he's doing it to ultimately help Emily. I love that he knows who she is and is trying to help her at every turn.
My heart broke when Jack told Emily how he felt and she clearly felt the same but couldn't be honest, not without compromising this mission she's on. Similarly, I feel badly for Daniel, and I'm holding out hope that he doesn't die on the beach.
The way Declan talks irritates me, and I keep expecting him to pull out some Erik van der Woodsen crap. I like he and Charlotte together and like that she doesn't care about the money.
I freaking love this show so much. Now you ladies are going to make me re-watch the Pilot to see if I can guess who died and who is the murderer. Based on some of your comments, I am hoping it really wasn't Daniel who died and it wasn't Jack who did it (although I am convinced it was Jack in that hooded sweatshirt over the body).
Btw, I also agree that Tyler is totally creepy. I was already suspicious of him when he kept trying to do stupid stuff to break up Emily and Daniel. The scene where he was in the bedroom with Daniel and got blown off was so weird. The fact that he banged his head against that wooden beam made it even weirder. At first, I thought he just wanted a job with Daniel's dad's firm but now he really might want Daniel instead.
I like Jack and feel bad for him, but I also like Daniel and feel bad for him since he's a big pawn in this game.
Color me shocked that Lydia survived that fall. Now I want to know what she remembers when she wakes up from her coma!
I hope Frank doesn't find much on Emily now that he's on to something. lol.
maybe its ashley b/c someone said she brushed sand off her hand?!
just a thought
I'm way late to this post but I don't think anyone else answered this question. This actually come up in last week's post as well and someone there explained it better but basically Conrad was laundering money through some terrorist organization. It was that terrorist organization that hijacked the plane and caused the crash. So I believe the thinking was that the crash wouldn't have happened if he hadn't been laundering the money.
I'm not sure about Victoria but my guess is that she really did love Emily's father, but having a story come out that her husband had basically been funding a terrorist organization would have destroyed Conrad (obviously) but also really, her and the kids as well. I assume they would have lost everything. So I don't think she was blackmailed (although I think Conrad probably picked him partially because of her affair) and I don't think she maliciously framed the father but I think she basically choose that over losing everything else.
I'm going to rewatch the season tonight. I like the theory, but I don't think that's going to the work. The only way Daniel would be the shooter is if he had the idea to shoot the body (Tyler/Daniel/whoever) by himself. I think Emily might slip, but I don't think she'd let Daniel in on the plot to get revenge on his parents.
