What baby stuff do I need to wash now?
38 weeks
The hospital bag is in the car. I'm mostly working at home now. I could prepare.
I don't want to wash too many clothes, etc. because I have no idea what size he'll be. We have a lot of swaddle/sleep sacks and receiving blankets from the registry, but again, no clue what size/how many we'll need.
Any advice? This appears to be the extent of my nesting.
Re: What baby stuff do I need to wash now?
Ditto Jess. I also had a big baby - 9# 3 oz and she was in NB clothing. I washed all NB and 0-3, all blankets, towels, bibs, hats and wash cloths.
Don't forget the boppy cover and changing pad cover.
And um, 38 weeks! Wow!
Not much more to add. I washed all onesies/side snap tees, sleepers, sleep saks, PJs, and outfits I loved plus diaper cloths, blankets, towels, washcloths, sheets, changing table cover, multi purpose pads, socks, bibs, um..., etc. in the NB and 0-3 sizes.
Everything else I kept tags on to and exchanged as needed.
And I never "nested" and people tell me I'm a good mom, so no worries there.
GL!!
I didn't have to worry about Sam because she had all Charlie's hand me downs (so no worry about returning). But she was a big baby - 9lbs 7oz and never touched NB stuff and was only in 0-3 for maybe a month
I never got that nesting instinct with either. Pretty sure I washed everything with Charlie and that was stupid because he also never fit in NB and was always an overachiever in terms of size
Holy crap, I cannot believe you are 38 weeks! How are you feeling?

Maternity leave wardbrobe? I hope this refers to the sweats and yoga pants I will be living in until May.
Eagles, I guess I feel ok? Harder to walk, easier to breathe.
Have a billion people told you "OMG YOU DROPPED!"? Usually when it's easier to breathe that is why. But people would say it just to say it, even if, in fact, the baby clearly had not dropped

I actually first thought of Flo Rida's "Low" but yours is just as good.
