I hate banks
We are supposed to close by Nov. 10th and our bank is totally dragging it's feet in telling us what we need to do next. Once we find out what we need to do we're right on it but they just take their time. We need a letter from a certified roofing professional to say that our roof is good for a least 5 years. It's fine! We got a letter from our home inspection person but that wasn't good enough but they didn't bother to tell us until 5 days later! Grrr I want a new bank!
Re: I hate banks
Sometimes I think it helps to remember that your loan is not the only one your LO and bank is working on. While it would be nice to be their "top priority," they have MANY other customers who would like to also be the most important client. Sometimes these things have to go through various levels to be approved and, in the grand scheme of things, 5 days is not that long. I know it is hard, but try to be patient and remember, you are not the only client the bank is working with.
