Melissa is annoyed that she has to spend her "quiet" Thurs. night (her DH is out) picking up. Her IL's are showing up tomorrow afternoon and there's still a scattering of crap around from the MBR re-do - all stuff that needs to find a new home, one way or another.
She's just not in the mood to deal with them either. She swears, the first time they start randomly "meowing" at one of the cats when they walk by, she's going to freaking lose it! (Yes, they do that - all.the.time.) Plus, she's sure they will have already hit up the nearby liquor store and will have a few in them before dinner. At least she and MIL are going shopping on Saturday so she won't have to be home to deal with FIL.

No. Melissa's IL's "meow" at the cats. It's not even a cute little meow. It's a really loud, annoying "MEOOWWRRR" noise. It's not like the cats are meowing and the IL's are meowing back. No, they see a cat and meow at it to try to get it to come to them. WTF. Then they call it by name and if it doesn't come, proclaim that "those stupid cats don't know their names." No, they are cats. They do what they want. Melissa gets that it's minor, but it grates on her nerves so much. Also, their cats don't meow that much and never meow at each other.
Eva wants to smack Melissa's in Laws. Who would continually meow at an animal. Just hearing that story is annoying. Sorry Melissa.
Eva had a fantastic lunch with DH that included some Pumpkin & Vanilla frozen yogurt from Yoforia. Eva has just realized she ate regular vanilla yogurt with a little pumpkin butter added for breakfast. She's going to not eat the same for dinner.
Eva is excited to watch the season final of Top Chef: Just Desserts. She's a sucker for Top Chef shows.
