yesterday was such a good day for me. hercules had an appointment at his reg vet, and things have been going so well. his cocktail of meds have helped shrink the tumor, and she feels comfortable removing it, instead of sending us to the specialist (this saves us up to $4,000). so we will be proceeding with the surgery herself on friday. last week (i don't remember if i mentioned it) hercules had chest xrays and an abdominal ultrasound (that cost quite the pretty penny)...and it confirmed that his cancer is localized and has not spread. now when they take off the tumor, they're sending it into the lab to tell us more about it...... fingers crossed for him! thanks for the nestie vibes yesterday...they *totally* work 
good day reasoning#2 was that as we were going to bed last night...h had his hand on my tummy, waiting to feel the baby. we've been trying for about a month now, and he hasn't felt anything. *just* as he was about to give up for the night..i felt the *biggest* kick i had ever felt. i thought h was playing a trick on me...but it was real. and he felt it too. so yay!
now today...i'm eating an apple that has sat in the fridge maybe a few days too long. slightly mushy/grainy. ew. not bad enough to throw away..but not crisp and perfect.

Great news about Hercules! I'm so glad. And I'm glad your hubby got to feel the baby kick.
Yesterday was a rough day and I was very tired when I came home. I didn't go to dance and we just sat on the sofa and watched a movie last night.
Not much today. I'm going to make a to do list and see what I can get accomplished.

GOod Thursday Morning! Today is my friday and i'm SO happy!
Work has been long and so busy that I just feel like I'll never get it all done. Also, I'm trying to train some one to take my place but that is never going to happen becasue there is just so much stuff to do, it's hard tohave time to train her at the same time.
We have been going to bed sooo early lately. I've been getting in bed around like 645 and reading until about 8. it's been soo nice!
Tomorrow is a busy day for me. I'm going to go take photos of my cousin's newborn.
I've made some hair things for her and bought a basket and I'm gonna go look for a fluffy white rug today. Oh, I've also bought a little tutu skirt and a nestie made some hats for me and I strung some pearls too. I hope atleast a few turn out good. I'm not a photograher but boy do I love to take photos of my family. 
Wish me luck on finding hair things.. oh, i forgot to check that post!

Today's highlight for me... getting a massage after work! I'm super excited for that. I've had some great workouts this week but definitely also have the soreness to prove it.

Things here are pretty good. I ended up going out with my mom to the new ***'s yesterday for lunch, and then we hit Old Navy (they have a printable coupon on the website for 25% off your entire purchase) and bought a few shirts. We'd been hoping to get some nursing shirts which are down to $7.50 on the website, but no dice; the one in Lynnwood carries no maternity and the only employee we could find to interact with us was a b!tch. So we got some cute scoop-neck long-sleeve Ts for $5/ea. Whee!
Today, I'm going to do some housework and take a nap, lol. I am stupidly tired, not least because I'm just not sleeping well due to congestion. Sigh!

DH and I ended up at Mike's Chili Parlor for dinner and a beer last night. I was stuck downtown at a board meeting and he was stuck in traffic due to the viaduct closer - we both we're rolling into Ballard at 7:30.
Today I have meetings about meetings - always a productive way to spend the day.

Stupid TN thinking locally crazy-tasty junk burger brand is profane.
Still irked I missed my dr. appointment yesterday. Can't find my TK bag which I've been using as my work bag since I got it. Sucky thing is it has my Nalgene so I haven't been able to bring water to work. (DH confiscated my other one, and my 3rd one is MIA and I left his behind at the doctor's office a few months ago.) It ALSO has all my paperwork about when my various appointments are...it's somewhere in the house or garage but I haven't found it.
Had baked butternut squash and sauteed kale last night for dinner. Yum! Don't know why but I had been craving those for several days. Then I curled up and watched TNBC with my cousin while she prepped her kit for a runway show she's doing down in PTown.
Ohhhhh YAY for baby movement!! It's really the one thing I miss about being pregnant... I loved that feeling. Enjoy it!!
Also, HOORAY for Hercules! I hope his surgery goes well on Friday! Does he act like he's feeling better?
I'm kinda pooped today. I haven't been getting to bed earlier than 1am the last few nights, and it's beginning to take a toll on me. I napped a little this morning (well, more like "finished sleeping"), and tried to nap a while ago since M is napping (she's stirring now), but it didn't work. I need to put myself back in bed if I want to sleep. I tried napping on the couch while watching a Grey's Anatomy rerun, but I got too distracted by the drama. LOL
I need to get some housework done today - I'll be out tomorrow with M for her EEG (wish us luck that it's normal!), and then DH's family will be here on Saturday. Ugh. I'm so not looking forward to that. I know I'll have fun, but I just am still bitter at my ILs. Not sure how I'm going to deal with this because I can't talk to DH about it without him getting upset, and I really don't have anyone else to talk to about it. It's a hard feeling to describe.

too late KST....they tested it on 10/19, and again on 10/21 (twice) for a total of 3 times. all times came back positive.
