1. If you could throw any kind of themed party, what would it be for? Either a toga party or Ugly Christmas Sweater party. Our friends would get a kick out of either one
2. If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be? 24. Idk why I am having such a hard time with turning 25 next month, but I am.
3. Is there a story that your family always tell about you? My mom and I look identical so when I was little I would get confused when I saw pictures of her and my uncles, so I would ask "Who am I in that picture with?"
4. Were you named after anyone? Nope, my parents just liked the name Leslie
5. What color shoes are you wearing? Black slippers

7. If you had to evacuate your house immediately, what is the one thing you would grab on the way out (after people and pets)? Photos. They are in a box by the door already.
8. What did you do on your first date with DH? Ihop for breakfast and we stayed talking for nearly 4 hours

3. Is there a story that your family always tell about you? My dad always tells the story about how he finally got a house phone and didn't tell me so when I was visiting him one weekend it rang and scared the crap out of me. he has it on video to, oh joy
4. Were you named after anyone? I wasn't but after looking up my name meaning I found that it comes from my grandmothers name, which is kind of neat
5. What color shoes are you wearing? Black, very exciting

7. If you had to evacuate your house immediately, what is the one thing you would grab on the way out (after people and pets)? My computer, it has all of my pictures on there.
8. What did you do on your first date with DH? We went out for pizza, he showed me that he could eat a slice like a ninja turtle lol, we went back to his place so he could make a halloween costume (a paper bag monster), we went to a Frat Halloween party for a bit and then hit Walmart haha
9. Do you remember your first kiss? I do, I was in elementry school and after lunch we were playing outside and there was this huge log by the woods that kids would go behind and kiss, so of course I had to too
10. Are you the type of person with lots of friends or just a few close ones? I'm the type who has a few close ones. DH is the the one with lots of friends (but keeping the small group of close as well)

2. If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be? I already quit at 25 and plan on sticking to it. I got married at 25, I can rent a car without extra fees, for the most part everyone considers you an adult and treats you as such and I figure everything mean for senior citizens will be gone by the time I get that old so why bother!
3. Is there a story that your family always tell about you? Tons, I'm not exceedingly graceful and do lots of ridiculous things so there's always some story to be told. A favorite is about how I didn't know how to put on a belt, got frustrated and just came downstairs wearing the belt over the belt loops...I was around 6.
4. Were you named after anyone? My middle name Alyce (like Elise) is after the woman who made my mom's wedding dress. My first name came after a lot of searching on my mom's part because she didn't want a name for me that she'd had in any of her students (she's a retired teacher). She'd never had a Vanessa before and never had one after I was born either...pretty good after 35 years of teaching!

8. What did you do on your first date with DH? We never really went on an official first date because we were friends for nearly a year before we became a couple. The first time we did something just the two of us we went and saw "Rockstar" with ?Mark Wahlburg and Jennifer Aniston.
9. Do you remember your first kiss? I do, it was my freshman year of high school with a guy named Steve that I was in a play with. We kissed, we flirted and when the play ended so did any contact we had with each other.
10. Are you the type of person with lots of friends or just a few close ones? I have a few close friends and lots of good acquaintances due to all the theatre I've been in and my husband being the friendliest person on the planet, lol!

When I was a tiny tiny child, my mom was trying to teach me my name (Mary Lindsay) and I refused to say it- instead I said "Me! Me!" every time she said it, so that's how I became Meme to my family.

3. Is there a story that your family always tell about you? My mother always tells me about how hard it was growing up one of 12... but other than that, no not really.

I'm not even going to say my wedding pictures, because those can burn for all I care. So long as Chris, Sam, and Loki were all safe... there's not much else that can't be replaced.

Not my first name. My middle name is the same as my mom's, although she has no clue how that happened because she hates it, lol.

DH would choose mountains, I choose beach. It doesn't really matter since we have family in both.

Probably just my purse out of habit. Maybe a few books, depending on which room I was in.
8. What did you do on your first date with DH?
We hung out as friends before we started dating, and then starting calling ourselves a couple before we ever went on any actual dates. But our first "official" date was to the zoo and a tapas restaurant.

Nope. We were just saying the other day how horrible we are for not remembering. We also don't remember the first time we had sex, or the first time we said I love you. We're such a romantic couple.

3. Is there a story that your family always tell about you? My dad loves to tell the story of once when we were camping I almost ate a huge green juicy catapillar until my brother saw and saved it from my wrath.
4. Were you named after anyone? My grandma's initials were MLE, which sounds like Emily, but I think that might have been a coincidence... my mom just really liked the name.

8. What did you do on your first date with DH? We went to the mall... since we couldn't drive yet, my mom took us there and his mom dropped me off. Romantic right? lol.
9. Do you remember your first kiss? Yep. Matt was walking me home one day like he always did, it was December so it was really cold, but we stayed outside my house and talked for hours everyday. This one day, he just had that look in his eye, and it wasn't a big deal, but it was my first and I love remembering it.
10. Are you the type of person with lots of friends or just a few close ones? Just a few close ones, but I know a lot of people who I could talk to if I ran into them, just none I would invite to dinner on a daily basis.
