Married Friends
Hey everyone!
My husband and I just got married in September! We moved from MA to MD (montgomery county) in 2010 and although we have made some great friends we are having trouble finding young married couples to befriend. Any ideas on where to find some or any organizations that have adventure stuff for couples? We have done a few things through ThingstodoDC but we found a lot of the people who have gone on those adventures are singles. Anyone else have trouble making married friends?

My husand and I just got married a year ago and moved from MA to DC as well! Well, techincally we live in Alexandria, but we both moved for work in DC. Where in MA are you from? I grew up in central mass and went to BC for undergrad and then lived in the Brighton area for a while after that.
Our experience is that it's been hard to find married couples as well - or just fun people in general haha. Maybe that's partly a function of our jobs and the condo complex we just happen to live in. But as a PP suggested, I would definitely be up for making sure I get to the next Knottie GTG to meet new people!
