Good grief, my employment reference list is old.
Morning, friends. Think of me in an hour and send genius interview answer vibes, okay?

Re: Thursday
Hmm dont know what you are looking for but I will send you good vibes.
Happy Thursday!
Vibes will be headed your way, GRSP!
<<Awesome genius vibes for you GRsp.>>
There. They won't be able to resist you now.
Good vibes sending now. click!
I started reading the Steve Jobs' Bio last night. This book is like 900 pages so we will see how fast of a read it is.
I'm making chicken tonight but I don't know what kind. All I wrote on my meal plan was " chicken, french? ". Umm I don't remember which recipe that is. oopps
Hope I'm not too late. Good vibes GRSP!
I'm probably too late to send good interview vibes, but you need good vibes afterward too, right? So I'll send some of those.
Let us know how it went!
So, I have this weird thing about swallowing vitamins when I'm home alone. I normally take my vitamins at lunch, but now I have to wait until Andy gets home.
I know that's ridiculous, but I have this phobia of choking when nobody else is home.
Dude, crying at pain or needles? Seems pretty damn normal to me, no matter what your age. If you smiled and laughed and exclaimed "Oh Goody!!" when you got a shot, I'd think something was wrong with you.
Ha, one of the nurses I work with loves giving shots. LOVES it. She's an odd bird.
But thanks. :-)
What time should I pick you up for the $ store outing, Chymes? It's okay that you cried. A phobia is a phobia, and if a swan came and sat on my lap, I'd be hysterical (not the funny type). It's unfortunate that your phobia is something that actually happens.
The interview(s) went well. I met with 3 people and then HR. I represented myself accurately and in a pretty nice light, I think. Should hear from them in about a week.
Keeping those fingers crossed for you!
I got my (mandatory for work) flu shot Tuesday and my freaking arm STILL hurts. I much prefer being on the other side of the needle.
Two interviews right in a row? Ugh, killer. I'm glad you came away feeling good about your part. That's half the battle.
Unless your toddler son is watching it go down, then it is setting a good example. Right? Right?
Deeder - Did you watch 60 Minutes with the Steve Jobs stuff? We did and I got really emotional. Especially when they showed the story of the autistic students communicating through using the iPad. The parents of the students were talking about finally being able to understand their children. Yeah, I shed a couple tears.
What an awesome trip!
That's awesome!! I'm so jealous that you're going to see The Daily Show taping. I've looked into tickets for either that or Colbert before. We have discussed doing a NYC trip primarily for that reason (is that weird?). Maybe someday.
Your whole trip sounds like it's going to be fabulous.
Boo... I'm sorry. I know exactly how you feel because that's me at the dentist. It's terrible.
Just think, no more flu shots for another 12 months!
That's not so ridiculous. Vitamins tend to be humongous and they make me a bit nervous too, to be honest.
My one regret is that we won't get to see Conan (moved to LA) or SNL (insane email lottery for tickets). But I'm pretty darn thrilled by what we will see.
Bahaha. I forgot about that. Then, yes, it is totally normal. ;-)
Chymes - Your trip sounds amazing!
It's phobia day!
I don't think you're nuts. I've choked on a vitamin C pill - horse pills, I call them because they're enormous. Since then I've switched to gummy vitamins because they are much easier to chew, and because my inner 8-year-old gets really excited about eating them.
You and Ben would get along swimmingly
This!!! Good luck!!!!!!
Yay! Good luck.
D&M: I think it's a great thing that your workplace really encourages blood donation. Also, good sign that the new owner is keeping up the PTO tradition.
Thanks everyone for the vibes. It was a weird interview process. I'm not 100% sure I have what they want for this position, but I sold myself, so maybe if not this one, a different one down the road?
