I've been eating a lot of ice cream lately. Just got me thinking...
What is your perfect bowl of ice cream? (Ice Cream Flavor and Toppings)
Re: Random Poll
During cherry season, I discovered I love vanilla bean topped with fresh chopped cherries with a smidge of Dr. Pepper poured over the top.
When buying ice cream, I usually go for something with chunks of chocolate goodness and nuts.
My preference is a hot-cold combination. So I like vanilla ice cream on top of a steaming brownie. Or mint ice cream drowning in gooey hot fudge.
These days is Chocolate Ice Cream with Fresh Strawberries.
Though I've also been craving a big bowl of Baskin Robbins Rainbow Sherbert.
Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!

I am the same way. I'll also do fresh baked chocolate chip cookies with vanilla.
At home, my most favorite is chocolate ice cream with frozen raspberries (slightly defrosted) and a drizzle of Hershey's syrup.
If we go out for ice cream I have certain flavors depending on where we go. Baskin Robbins is either German Chocolate or Jamocha Almond, Ben & Jerry's is usually cookies and cream, in MI I usually get peach or cookies and cream.
Oh yes! How could I forget about BJ's pizookie! They came out with a gluten-free pizookie in August & I wept tears of joy right in the middle of the brewery. It was really embarassing for DH.
I am obsessed with hot brownies/cookies with ice cream on top. They make me so happy.
I agree. it's normally chocolate with chocolate hot fudge but with this pregnancy it's all about vanilla with hot caramel and nuts. Normally I'm anti vanilla.
I've usually been a fan of anything with lots of caramel or toffee. I used to like a lot of bluebell flavors but quit buying it once I realized it all had HFCS in it (and the one vanilla that doesn't...too boring for me, I'd rather buy a high quality vanilla).
Right now I like trying small batch pints of ridiculously expensive ice cream. We don't eat it every night and typically just eat a few spoonfuls in a custard cup when we do, so a pint lasts us ages. Jeni's Salted Caramel...YUM. It's like what you'd get if you mixed dulce de leche and a campfire-burnt marshmallow.
ok, i literally drooled reading this post...lol.
i love love love B&Jerry's mint chocolate cookie. oh my gosh.
if i am at marble slab, it's waffle cone, with sweet cream/strewberries/mini marshmallows inside.

I don't think I have one favorite. But one is Bluebell Vanilla Bean with room-temp black coffee poured over it. It reminds me of visiting my grandma, in the days before coffee-flavored ice cream was sold.
Also, a classic hot fudge sundae rocks. Even better with some caramel added.
ETA: when I'm at baskin Robbins and I want be a complete glutton, I'll get a sugar cone with a double scoop of mint chocolate chip and jamoca almond fudge. But the mint has to be on the bottom, because having the almonds inside the cone makes it kind of dry.
I looooooove BB Cookies n Cream. I love MS coconut ice cream with pecans in a waffle cone. And I have discovered that I love the Chocolate Bar's chocolate ice cream with white choco, dark choco, milk choco shavings and pecans, almonds, cashews, pistachios(sp?) and some other nuts.
BB homemade vanilla is included in both of these...
either topped with semi-sweet chocolate chips and slivered almonds
or
with some cinnamon mixed in and topped with cinnamon Teddy Grahams
So Tasty, So Yummy
