I think I am going insane being stuck here! I can't really get dressed because nothing can touch my leg without it hurting and I cannot drive due to pain meds.... I left for lunch yesterday but I am already bored.
I am sitting around in giant sweat pants and that just makes me feel more blah!
ETA: he would never admit it but I think my hubby is getting sick of taking care of me =(
well I'm such an AW I made a whole post just to whine about my own problems
otherwise... um, I guess things are ok. Once a week for this rotation H will spend a half day in a sports med clinic. This clinic happens to be at a large university so he'll maybe work with some football players on our favorite team
ETA: lol sorry, I realize now that wasn't really a whine - although maybe I'm jealous because I actually used to be really interested in sports medicine and I kind of wish I got to go!

Eh, I think that's an east coast thing.
I went to school in LA and was in a sorority (and a social sorority at that), and while appearance was definitely important, we totally wore yoga pants (well, even the ridiculous juicy sweatsuits and uggs, haha, back when they were still "in style").
Though I definitely don't feel as put together wearing yoga pants, and only wear them for lounging around, or certain errands.
Ugh, majorly annoyed about an HOA issue. We live in a townhome complex, and our rules and regulations don't allow for any external building modifications without HOA approval. Our next door neighbors installed two floodlights, one in the back which shines right in our back yard anytime we go out there (super annoying when we're trying to have a candlelight dinner, for example), and one in the front that shines in our front door. They also don't match with any of the lighting in the rest of the complex.
I'm on the board, and a decision was made to that they need to remove the lights.
I missed an HOA meeting for our honeymoon, and apparently the board decided that the new course of action is for me and DH to go talk to the neighbors directly. And this will go in the meeting minutes. First of all, now the neighbors know that we're the ones who complained, and second of all, what's the point of regulations when they're not actually enforced. The reason we have an HOA is so they're the one who deals with these issues. We own this place, we really don't want our neighbors to hate us. Argh.

EIP - that's LAME. Exactly what Jennlin said, that's the POINT of the board! I like how they made this decision when you were on your HM, seems like an underhanded effort to undermine you for some reason.
Forgot my 3rd random whine - was at Target 2 days ago and went to buy some new undies (yes, I wear nonfancy Hanes cotton bikinis in fun colors. H thinks they're cute/sexy/sporty and I find them comfy). They changed the style! They doubled the width of the waistband and I didn't like them. Boo...now I have to start all over finding a new brand/style. I don't like buying ridiculously expensive undies because, well, frankly sometimes they get ruined unexpectedly due to being female, and also because I carry my weight in the undie region and it's hard to find comfortable cute ones that aren't too tight around my chunky upper thighs.
