Do you think any of those women really like one another?
I only watch the show randomly, so I may not see the full picture, but I never really feel like they like each other. Especially Robyn. I feel like as the last one in, she's def not liked too much.
Re: s/o Sister Wives.
From what I remember from past seasons (season? seasons? how long has this show even been on?) it was Meri's idea to court her in the first place...
Don't really know about Janelle and Christine, though...I know there was some media hype about Christine being unhappy, but I don't know whether or not it was b/c of Robyn herself or just Christine feeling left out, left behind, marginalized, whatever...
This! I get the feeling that Christine would be happy as the only wife. I think they get along because they have to. If they don't get along they risk the others ganging up on them, and making Kody choose, and obviously these women worship Kody.
Christine said in one of the recent episodes that her and Kody are going through a rough time right now. I think that more explains her way of acting, I think she is just in a bad place and so it looks like she doesn't like anyone.
I think Meri and Kody went through a similar thing last year but are back on track so she's getting along with everyone. I love Janelle, she seems like the sanest one of the bunch (not that the others aren't- she just seems very level headed). Robyn is so puppies and rainbows that it's annoying. But I still think she's in the new wife phasae and is trying not to step on anyone's toes yet she always does, usually thanks to Kody (like him picking her wedding dress).
I agree that Meri and Robyn seem to like each other a good bit and that Jenelle seems indifferent. However, I Christine likes the other wives but just isn't that close to them. Maybe she just has a different personality. Although, it does seem like she likes Robyn the least (again, just different personalities).
I think it's probably hard for Christine because she just had a baby and now her husband has a new wife who kind of "replaces" her as the newest/youngest wife. And the "new" wife just had a baby, kind of one-upping Christine having a new baby.
I feel like they all got along better before Robyn was there.
Ha! That made me laugh!
I never pay attention to anyone's name on the show. I googled to figure out who was who and saw this:
Christine is Kody's third wife. They have been married since 1994 and have six children: Aspyn (14), Mykelti (13), Paedon (11), Gwendlyn (8), Ysabel (6), and Truely.
What the hell kind of names are those?
I've only seen the first 2 seasons, but I agree with this.
Christine always seems upset and doesn't seem to like any of them, including Kody at times.
Didn't Christine say in the 1st or 2nd season that she wanted to be a sister wife and she couldn't imagine not having sister wives? I believe she also said she wanted to be the third wife in a polygamist family. I guess she never planned on Kody taking a fourth wife? I wonder why she is having problem NOW.
I totally think that once Meri's daughter has graduated from college and is off on her own that Meri is going to leave.
I remember her saying this, too.
IDK, it seems like they like each other the same way you like your siblings or other family members that you live with. You spend a lot of time with them and sometimes they might get on your nerves, but for the most part you get along with them. Add in the stressful move to Las Vegas where they have no support system outside of their family and they're bound to have their moments.
In other related news, I was watching this the other night and told my husband that we needed some brother husbands. He goes, "That's a great idea!" I immediately had a vision of him and his friends playing video games and wanting dinner as soon as I walked in the door from work. I don't think we'll be adding any brother husbands!

What I find the most interesting about this statement is that Meri's the only one he's legally married to. If she leaves, what will the status be, legally, to these other women? Still no legal status?
I find it interesting. I've wondered if Meri would leave or not, but I think she and Janelle have one the most stable/confident relationships with Kody. I think Robyn will get there too, but she's in the newlywed phase of her relationship with Kody, and they now have a child together, so there is a lot of firsts going on for Kody and Robyn in their relationship.
According to Big Love (that's real life, right? lol) he'd marry #2. So he would legally marry Janelle should Meri ever leave.
