What type and brand of clothes dryer to you have?
as you know, major renovations over at Sassafrass. One of the projects to it gut out main floor bath and add full bathroom with laundry center.
Do you have a gas or electric dryer? Which brand? What do you love? Hate? etc.
I have an electric dryer that has seen better years. I had no issues with it it being electric, but that is also because i never had a dryer in any home. The washer died (again) a few months ago and i have been hightailing it to the laundromat. since. Because of space issues I have to get a stackable front loader.
sometimes all you really need in life is a pink wig.
Re: What type and brand of clothes dryer to you have?
mines def electric, I dont' even know what brand. I have to go downstairs in a few min to switch the loads so I'll "edit" then with the brand lol.
its a no frills, standard size loading dryer- I am pleased with it though.
i should add that I have the option at this time to run propane line to location of new washing center. I think it is more trouble than it is worth but open to any and all suggestions.
Honestly I hang stuff minus sheets, socks and j's tees.
mine is a Kenmore. i forget the exact brand- but it's the "energy efficient" kind that has a sensor and is supposed to either shut off early or dry longer as the laundry needs. and it DOES NOT WORK. it will go on and on sometimes when my laundry is scorching hot and dry, other times it stops when the laundry is still totally damp. i've had it serviced 3x. my mom has the older version of the same dryer and recently started having the same issues. moral of the story, screw the "energy efficient dryers" they dont work. at least the kenmore ones dont.
we have the Maytag Epic Z stackable washer and dryer. I know the washer is energy efficient, but not sure about the dryer. It does the job just fine and *knock on wood* haven't had any issues. We got a deal on the set when we were buying the appliances for our house so we went with it.
mine is def electric
We have the same ones. We just got them when we redid our laundry room around mothers day.
we have an 8 year old basic electric Maytag that the builder installed. We never had a problem with it. My Dad has gotten a lot of good deals on dryers at Sears/Lowes by buying dented floor models.
We just had a propane line put in so I can use gas for cooking- it's one of the best decisions we made with the remodel. We left well enough alone in the laundry room and don't regret it.
