The Sing-Off 10/24 (spoilers)
FINALLY -- I didn't think Collective would ever get the boot. They were clearly the worst group out there last night.
Aside from them, I thought several of the groups really shone last night -- Pentatonix hit it out of the park. Delilah did really well, and I loved the Aires, as usual. (They are so creative with their arrangements.)
Your thoughts?
Re: The Sing-Off 10/24 (spoilers)
Afro-Blue is just so much better than all the other groups, in my opinion. You can listen to them perform the song several times and notice new things each time. I just think all the layers of their songs are amazing, but also such a great blend. And they all have great voices and stage presence.
I thought Delilah did really well too, especially since they haven't done well the past couple weeks in my opinion.
I agree that Afro-Blue is consistently good.
i think they are consistently good....but sometimes really boring. and everything sounds the same. AND killing me softly is NOT a hip-hop song.
pentatonix killed it, they are so amazing...and for being only 5 people, they blow my mind every single week.
i'm SO glad delilah got back on their game, they were incredible week one, and they've slipped some since then.
urban method needs to go next. their 2 main girls are AWFULLLLL!!! so boring, and they can't sing well at all. gag.

I loved Delilah's performance this time, I'm glad they got back into the groove!
I love the judges, they crack me up "Girl nads" teehee.
omg, i'd forgotten about lady nads!

I loved Delilah! Don't ever let the girl from last week sing a solo again bc they were good again! haha
I also loved Pentatonix, Afro-Blue and the Dartmouth Aires!
The collective is FINALLY gone! yay!
Yellow Jackets should be next they are just loud.
I'm sad that The Collective is gone, frankly I think that Vocal Point should have been the group fighting to stay in the competition. They did much worse that the Collective did in their performance. I think they were spared because their song was dedicated to the lead's father who passed away recently.
I admit that The Collective could do much better. In my opinion Rachel Lampa should have been the primary female lead rather than Ruby. Rachel has a MUCH better voice that Ruby. I'm not saying that Ruby has a bad voice but she needs to get that vabratto under control, is it really that much to ask for Ruby to hold a solid note?
It seems like all the groups I've been a fan of are leaving. The Collective this week, North Shore last week, I thought Massiah's Men were pretty good too. I enjoy the Dartmoth Aires, the Yellowjackets, and Afro Blue and if any of them win I'd happily get their CD but at this point I don't know if it's even worth watching the Sing Off since all my bands are getting the boot.
