I'm divorced!!!
Papers were signed yesterday, sent out and received today! I had everything sent to my dad's house (so XH won't have my address) and when my dad called and told me I felt like I left out the biggest exhale ever- like I've been holding my breath all this time.
Wow. It doesn't seem real yet. But I'm so excited!!

Congratulations!
9 months to the day I filed the initial paperwork. Filed the "final" paperwork 3 months ago, took 10 weeks for them to reject it (because XH didn't pay his fee, jerk) then 2 weeks from the final re-filing. Seems entirely too long, as we don't have kids, but the judge accepted all the conditions of our settlement agreement. YAY!!

YAY!! I can't wait to start this same post. It will be a year on Monday that we've been separated and God knows how many more months before everything goes through. Divorce takes way too long in Canada...
