Good morning and happy Friday!
Me again? Let's get it popping in here ladies!
Friday plans? I'm going to the boys later to make us some burgers and sweet potato fries for dinner.
QOTD: In honour of the fact that I'm wearing heels at work for the first time in forever (and feeling good about it), do you wear heels or flats at work? If you aren't working, how often do you wear heels in life?

Re: Good morning and happy Friday!
QOTD: I wear heels to work once in a blue moon. I'm wearing them today because my pants are too big, which makes them too long, but I didn't really hav any other clothes to wear. I feel much more attractive. Other than work I only wear hells clubbing, but in that instance they're usually 5-6 inch ones.
Oh and also, my scale read 164 this morning. 3lbs to go (fo 50lbs lost).
Happy Friday ladies! I was supposed to meet a friend for lunch, but my mom isn't feeling well so I am taking her to the english speaking doctor around 1...hopefully it's something that'll go away quickly so she feels better.
QOTD: I'm not working now, but when I was teaching english in businesses and going to school I wore heels about once every two months. I mostly wore flats and flt boots since it was winter. I really hate wearing heels and only wear them for special occasions...I think the last time I wore heels was my graduation ceremony in May. So it's been a while.
Good morning! DH and I are just being lazy right now, before going to grab some lunch. Later we are going to a Halloween party - hope it's fun!
QOTD: When I was working, I usually wore flats or sandals, I only wore heels if we had a meeting with a very important client (and even then, I wore them only for the meeting and changed back into my flats at the office). Now I only wear heels when we go out (nice dinner, going out in Dubai, etc) - they just hurt my feet too much!

Good morning ladies!
The Cardinals won last night!! Only one more game of the World Series tonight, exciting
.
No plans today except the gym and to buy raclette for tomorrow night, we've having friends over for a real Swiss dinner of melted cheese
.
QOTD: flats, usually. I own some heels but I'm already tall as it (5'7) and I don't find heels comfortable, though I do feel sexier in them.
Morning!
I'm still sick today. Just relaxing. I want to get out this afternoon with M, hopefully I'll feel up to it. I start work on Tuesday and want to be 100%.
QOTD: When I was working it was about 50-50 heels vs flats. Then I stopped wearing heels from 7months pregnant until we moved to France. Now I mostly wear flats unless I have an interview. At my new job I must wear heels, I'm not looking forward to the pain in my feet!
You have to wear heels? LIke, as per the company dress code? I'm not offended by much, but unless they're making the men wear heels I'm thinking this is sexist.
Morning ladies! I'm working from home today and then meeting a friend after work for what is becoming a tradition of TGIF-ing. We're going to a pub with board games and outdoor tables--I'm so looking forward to it.
QOTD: I wear flats and wedge shoes most often, but I also have a pair of heeled Mary Janes that I wear probably every other week or so. I'm actually only in the office perhaps two days a week, so it's not so bad. When I'm visiting universities as part of my role, I almost always wear flats because it's so much walking (and inevitably lots of cobblestones).
I'm also curious about this 'have to wear heels' thing.
I'm starting work for an event company and we are working the G20 next week. Looks more professional than flats I guess. For some of their other events flats will be ok though.
Agreed sexist - welcome to France!
Morning! We returned from Israel and Jordan yesterday. I completely recommend both countries.
I have the day off and plan to unpack, clean, etc.
QOTD: I wear heels nearly all the time. I prefer the look of heels and honestly, I feel they are very comfortable. However, I am trying to wear more flat, but it is hard for me! I even wear heels on the weekend!
Afternoon!
DS and I just woke up from our nap, we will be getting ready for a halloween party later on tonight and then off to Singapore with some friends tomorrow for 5 days! Bring on the Yum Cha, cleaning my teeth in the water, eating food without worrying about gastro, cleaner skies and better traffic!
QOTD: Since I was a nurse I only wore rubber theatre shoes and work and very rarely wear heels at home, I only wore them a few weeks ago for a wedding and hated it, I look like an idiot in them because I am not used to it, DH prefers I don't as well because we are already the same height.
Morning everyone! Sorry I've been MIA for so long, but I'll catch you all up in another post. Nothing much today, just finishing up work for the week, and then a nice weekend of dinner with friends tomorrow, and relaxing on Sunday!
QOTD: When I'm in the office (1 week a month) then I'll wear heels 2-3 days. Otherwise, I work in pajamas, and heels don't really go with the VS flannel pants. On the weekends, it just depends on what we're doing, but I've been known to throw on a pair of heels for dinner out or whatever.
Morning everyone. We are just lazing at home due to our vacation day.
QOTD: Almost never. I guess the rehearsal dinner was the last time I wore heels for a few hours. Before that I can't even remember. Potentially before I moved to Dubai. I don't like making my feet hurt and have convinced myself that they just aren't good for you.
Morning! A friend is coming over in a bit who just spent 1 year in Liberia. I'm guessing she'll have some interesting stories!
QOTD: I work at home mostly, so I wear slippers. :-) When I leave the house I wear a low (~2in) chunky heel about 90% of the time. I find it more comfortable than flats, but anything higher than 2-3" kills my feet after just a short time, so I avoid those like the plague.
Hi there. I plan to take a nap today and hopefully we'll go to dinner tonight. We were up at 3 am watching baseball.. my stomach is still upset from the stress. I can't handle that again tonight.
QOTD: I used to wear heels all the time. It's kind of impossible to wear them here because of all the walking and cobblestone streets. I'm more of a flats girl these days.
Oh TGIF! This has been a horrible week for sleep and I'm so looking forward to a lie in tomorrow. DH was out until after 1am last night, and then kept me awake with his trips to the bathroom. I think I got maybe 2 hrs of sleep. I'm doing ok now, but it will probably hit me this afternoon. I'm heading out to a hen do straight after work though, so no time to rest. The party should be a lot of fun though.
QOTD: I wear heels every day at work, but commute in something more comfortable - either flats or boots. I generally prefer heels, and love it when I can find a pair of comfortable more casual heels for the weekend.
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
Good morning! I've been out every single night for a week and am going out tonight for a friend's birthday. I am doing absolutely nothing tomorrow though, I need a break!
QODT: I am a flats girl mostly although I have a few pairs of wedges or chunky heeled shoes I wear often. If I'm going out with girlfriends or to weddings I wear heels. I work at a University so it's super casual, I'm almost always in jeans. Same as a lot of people, just too much walking and too many cobblestones!
Meg... that's AMAZING!!!! i am getting further and further away from 50lbs lost but I will totally join you there one day. You are my inspiration!!

Hi ladies! I haven't been on much mainly due the the malware stuff but now that it is safe I'm back. Not much going on for me today, we are going to dinner tonight. Tomorrow some friends are coming to town so we will do some shopping and to Chipotle. Sunday I have a baby shower, I guess I should shop today too since I haven't gotten a gift yet!
QOTD: Since moving here I only wear flats, when I'm in the US I'll wear heels here and there, I prefer wedges.
Is this place up the road from me?
Thank you! I'm not going to say it was easy, because I don't want to sound like a jackasss, but I will say that I'm surprised at how such little changes make such a difference. Once I started running and eating a bit less, I was shocked at how quickly it came off, and I still am.
You've done such an amazing job so far. I've seen the before and after pics and you look great. Keep it up!
Congrats on the weight loss Meggers! I'm in the Newark airport waiting for my flight to AZ for my friends wedding!
QOTD: I have "retar-toes" that have required no less than 3 surgeries in 10 years and I'm on the brink of requiring another, I try I wear flip flips as long as possible. I do love heels though and wear them on dates and going out.
It is! Are you coming? We'll be there from 4:30.
I totally would but I am doing a yoga class from 7:30-9:30, drinking before would be a bad idea. Have fun!
You can always come for tea and company.
