Re: Really?
That's so lame. I understand I live in New England, but snow before Halloween is just wrong.
The part I hate the most is that the first half of the month was unseasonably warm and then the temperatures plummeted. I wish it was more gradual.
I've been suffering through the cold because I'm too stubborn to dig out my winter coat and boots. I don't even like taking them out in November, but I don't think I'm going to win with that this year.
I'm still wearing a coat, just not my winter one. I have a thick windbreaker-esque jacket with a fabric liner so it makes for a great fall jacket. The last few days I was wearing rain boots since my winter ones aren't fully waterproof. Those things keep my feet warmer than I expected.
Actually the part of me that's usually the coldest (besides my face) are my legs. Jeans are not good heat insulators.
Confession: I wear running tights (i.e. spandex pants) under my jeans in the dead of winter to keep warm. And because our building is "green" it is usually cool enough inside at work that I just keep them on all day. But I am cozy.
I totally wear my long underwear under my pants most of the winter. Most of my work pants aren't lined and I get cold easily.
No.
Fix this. I arrive Monday.
Fix it, Lady! Fix it!
Thank you.
I'm excited to wear my uggs again. But I don't do wind, so that needs to be addressed.
