Bad news: We didn't sell our condo before we left DC.
Good news found out today: The property management company that my H's job is paying for us assessed our situation. They are recommending $200/mo of rent over our mortgage and condo fees. In the assessment it said that we were in a highly desirable location. Only negative was that I didn't use neutral paint colors in all the rooms. Could be worse though, right? I said hire the painters and get those renters in!
(I realize this is not buckets of money coming our way, but I am happy that things are looking up! Our interest rate is most likely going to drop in January too, which would bring in an additional $300/mo. Happy dance!)
