Aiden doesn't take naps at school even though he is tired. So sometimes when I pick him up from school, he falls asleep on the long drive home. I try keeping him awake but so far no luck with that. About three times now he doesn't wake up when we get home. Those few times he sleeps until it is time to wake up the next morning (about 12 hours of sleep). I'm not sure if this should worry me or not. Not that sleeping is harmful but I wonder if something is going on inside that is making him get so tired he doesn't wake up until the next morning. It has only happened 3 times in the past month or 2 so it isn't going on all the time. Anyone else's kid do this?
Re: Question for the moms
I love my crazy child!
My Bio
What time is he falling asleep for the night? How long did he used to nap for?
If he's happy and acting normal I wouldn't worry about it. Kids need sleep, he's just doing his job.
