i didnt dump netflix when all the drama went on. i thought it wasnt a huge deal and i would pay the new fee- whatevs.

BUT!

tonight all i wanted to do was watch michael myers. the first one. you know, the original.

no avail. no old horror movies were to be found.

i had to watch halloween: h20 to get my michael myers fix. not.the.same.

If you mean Halloween, it's available on DVD, just not on streaming. It's not Netflix's decision whether or not a movie is available to stream, it's the studio's. I think if it were up to Netflix they would be 100% streaming and would never mail another DVD again.

I didn't even see it come up as a DVD option. I was doing it from my TV though and not the computer.

If you are accessing it through the TV though isn't it only the stuff that is streaming that comes up? I think that's how mine works but I use Apple TV

Yea you will only see streaming movies through the TV. You have to go online to find all the movies. This happened last Halloween. No good scary movies were available at Halloween. The same happens during Xmas. I guess they want you to get the DVD.

This is why we got rid of the streaming and stuck to the dvd plan. Other than certain tv shows, there was almost nothing we wanted to watch on the streaming.

maybe it's changed. b/c i used to be able to search it all on the TV and if it wasnt streaming it would say "dvd only"

ergh. i dont know why we even keep netflix. but i just like the option of having it if i want to use it. ha

My husband is hooked on streaming. I think its a waste. There isnt much on there. I think it would be better to up the DVDs and dump the streaming.

Plus for some reason my streaming seems to not work (content error anyone?) at all the times I really really want to watch something from them.
