Re: What are you up to this weekend?

  • Today:  Lunch with a friend, getting groceries, and then I have book club with my girlfriends tonight

Saturday:  Possibly carving pumpkins with DH during the day, then handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters later.  Then DH is going to his co-worker's annual Halloween party but I think I'm going to skip out this year as it's pretty late/tons of drinking and being almost 9 months pregnant I just want to relax.  I told him call me if he drinks too much and needs a ride home.

Sunday:  We are going to cheer my twin sister on as she runs her first marathon!  I am so so so proud of her!  Then we are going to do a hospital tour because we've never been to the hospital we're delivering at and it's 40 minutes away.

    Have a good weekend ladies!

  • Today: (Actually have the day off!) Bringing my cats to the vet. One is due for his yearly exam and rabies vaccine, and the other is my problem cat/house pee-er and i have to have her rechecked for UTI's and all those lovely things because she found a new place to soil...ugh...shes a great cat otherwise, more than perfect so thats the only reason im able to deal with the peeing! the vet said last time that essentially she's just a neurotic cat, no medical issues so if thats still the case, my next option (only thing we havent tried) is kitty anxiety drugs. yay spending tons of money on my babies.

And then chores - also still need to pick up halloween candy to hand out...im late doing this so im sure ill get stuck buying the crappy candy thats left lol

Saturday: 3rd Birthday party for ziggy's goddaughter, SNOW (2-5 inches so they say...ewww we already got some last night!!!)

Sunday: chores and possibly if i have time baking mini eyeball cupcakes for work for halloween.

  • Tonight:  Working on lectures while I sorta watch the World Series with DH.

Tomorrow: Cleaning & FINALLY hanging pictures in our house!!!  And working on lectures. And I think one of DH's friends is coming over to watch their alma mater's football game.

Sunday:  We have nothing planned...   still lectures. I have 6 new ones to give in the next two weeks... can't wait til finals week :)   and maybe making lasagna to freeze for later in the week- we may be hosting dinner for some of DHs coworkers who are in town for a conference (DH is employed out of state- goes there a couple of days every other week, and works here the rest of the time).

  • I'm feeling a bit under the weather but hopefully I'll still get to have some fun this weekend.

Today: Quite day and then I have my first shift at work tonight at my new store in my new position.

Saturday: I work Saturday morning too. Hopefully when I'm off H and I will carve pumpkins. It's supposed to be really cold here Saturday so we'll probably stay in.

Sunday: H is working the Marine Corps marathon...so if I'm not working too I might go see Skyline Drive (I've heard of it not sure what it is lol) with a couple friends.

  • Today: having a lazy day again for the afternoon then picking up the kids at 5 and going to my in-laws to celebrate DH's grandma's 85th birthday.

Saturday: Memorial service for my aunt. Then taking the kids to participate in our local Halloween parade and maybe carving pumpkins at my parents.

Sunday: I think the kids and I will have a PJ & Movie day then we'll have dinner at home and I'm going to take them to the neighborhood next to ours to go trick or treating for a little while.

Oh, and Kayla- Skyline drive is AMAZING!!! DH drove there for me to see on our honeymoon on our way to Luray Caverns (another amazing place).Have FUN!!

  • Today: I need to do some catching up this evening with house cleaning and shopping.  This week has been too busy!

Saturday: My plans were to drive an hour to visit my sister and decorate pumpkins with my nephew followed by having a photo shoot with a friend who is starting her own business.  However, the impending snow may smash all those plan because I do not want to be needlessly driving in 6-10 inches of snow!

Sunday: A day of rest!  Church in the morning and maybe some tv watching, catching up with crafts, reading throughout the day.

  • I have a busy and crazy weekend.

Today/tonight:  Had an early off day, came home, talked to neighbors, packed, and drove to DH's parents (in-laws who live five hours away) and now are watching the Cardinals in game 7 of the World Series.  Had to listen to first part of game on car radio.

Tomorrow: Inlaws' church (and DH's childhood church) lunch and big fundraiser/auction. DH is the auctioneer because no one else would do it and MIL is one of the chairs of it.  Then, we are driving an hour and a half away, checking into a resort, changing, and going to a wedding.  (DH's friend.)  Hopefully, celebrating a Cardinals World Series win.  (Sorry girls have to add that as I am a huge fan!!!)

Sunday:  Breakfast with friends (from the wedding and people we don't see all the time from out of town who are at the wedding) and driving home.

  • Last night, I worked on lesson planning and we watched some netflix.

Today, I had CCD this morning, and now I'm currently babysitting (we're waiting for the movie Puss in Boots to start). If I get done here early enough I'll be driving to my parents house tonight because my extended family will be there playing cards.

Tomorrow (Sunday), we plan on relaxing. And the house needs to be cleaned.

Monday, H is taking off and I have a teacher's institute day followed by my first cavity filling ever.
