This morning on the way to school, B said she had her Christmas list ready, and I kind of sighed and said "Oh boy". Then she told me all she wanted was a Kindle Touch and maybe a new pair of Chucks, and that she wanted to donate whatever else we would have spent on presents to the SPCA and Ronald McDonald House.
I really love her. I think I just became a fan of Christmas again...

That is awesome.
DD gave me her "new and approved" list a couple months ago. It wasn't too bad really. Coach purse (the little cross body one), clothes, makeup, perfume. She put an inground pool on there but then wrote - probably not happening. Kids!

Crazy Christmas Kids!
Kindle = reading = good.
Chucks = shoes = necessary = good.
Charity = Awesome and thoughtful.
Yeah, she pretty much rocks.
I have one problem with Harmony's synopsis. Chucks are not good. They're awesome.
So is reading, but I was trying to focus on the charity aspect.
It really was a hat-trick of awesomeness.
you should throw in a pair of crazy sock just for good measure = )
I love that kid!
Awesome kid, indeed. Good job mom.
This...that is so thoughtful and incredibly mature of her!
She's a good kid.
I love that you just used the phrase hat trick.
That is sweet!
It would be rally neat to see if you could purchase a "brick" or something similar in her name at RMcDH or SPCA. You know how they have the bricks on the walk at the zoo? Something like that!
