So, how'd it go?

Re: Marriage/Wife Challenge

  • Yesterday, DH wasn't home with Z yet when I left for ZUMBA so I left him a sweet note, even called him handsome. (barf! LOL!)

Then on the way home from ZUMBA I had to stop at the grocery store, while there I picked him up a pack of his favorite cookies and 2% milk (his fav, but I make us buy and drink slim usually).

He said thank you for both.

  • DH is super sick, so this challenge is getting hard. But I did all the chores last night. Took garbage outside.

  • I don't even remember what 'tasks' were on the challenge.  So, going well, I guess LOL
  • Haven't responded since I hate doing so on my phone. However, the first day I moved all the furniture by myself out of the room getting new carpet before he got home. Yesterday I called him mid morning and asked if t and I could come have lunch with him since I'm on fall break. He hasn't gotten to show her off to his office so he was pumped. Then this am I told him I arranged for my mom to watch T tonight so we could go to dinner by ourselves and go shopping for Ts bday present. It's amazing how little things improve the mood at out home :) not just for him but me too!!

    I initiated sex.

    Wow!

Alex jumped on H's goods last night and I was sooo happy because I she bought me more time to avoid it.

HAHA. I've been avoiding it too.

It'll just be a great ending to a really good week for our husbands. LOL!

OK, I'll spill the whole beans about what happened... maybe TMI...

When we got out of the shower, I asked him (in all honesty) to look at my lady bits. From the glimpses I could get in the mirror, they looked swollen and I wanted him to check it out. Of course he had no problem doing that.

So I laid down on the bed and he assured me that everything looked fine down thurr. So then we had quick sex, during which I could barely breathe. Baby + DH pushing on my lungs = hard to breathe.

I hope that satisfies him for awhile.

  • Katie, that's awesome.

DH was outside in the rain and cold yesterday.  I had dinner waiting for him.  After that, I noticed he had mud on his legs.  So I grabbed a washcloth, washed him off and gave him a foot rub.  He was happy.

  • I repeated a task from the list, hope that's allowed! lol. We got jiggy with it last night. And tonight we have a date night, so we're going for the three-fer. I don't think he's complaining. I'm going to guess he wouldn't mind if I just did that 1 item from the list all week.
