Kids halloween craft idea without glue?

Anyone have any ideas crafty things for kids?  We are going my niece/nephew's house to play with the kiddos and my sister said no glue :)

 Nephew is 4 - Niece is 9

Thanks!

  • How about making some key chains! Thread some pony beads on the plastic string stuff. I always liked making those things.

  • Contact paper window decorations.  Get white contact paper from the dollar store.  Cut out ghosts or other Halloween shapes.  Let the kids color/decorate, then peel the backing and put up on the windows.  Comes off with a little work from windows, but comes off really easily from walls/doors.

One of the room moms at my school got foamish/plastic-ish pumpkins for the kids and foam stickers.  They made jack-o-lanterns by sticking eyes, nose(s), mouth(s), etc... on the pumpkins.  The kids loved it, were really creative, and it was practically mess free!!

To combine PP's ideas... the really thin foam will usually stick to glass doors, windows, bathtub walls, etc. (you may need to get it a little bit damp) and it layers, so you can use it kind of like a window cling.

Another option would be to paint or use markers to color faces on little pumpkins or other gourds.

How about making scare crows. You wouldn't necessarily need hay... old newspapers/paper or plastic bags could serve as stuffing. Then you could even do it indoors.
