Morning, friends.
Willa's school is having a pumpkin decorating contest today. I did not make any suggestions. My daughter is a kindergarten Martha Stewart. She poked holes in the pumpkin and stuck flower stems in them. It's darn cute. She's darn proud.

Re: Frosty Friday
Morning!
I'm so disappointed. The pumpkin I bought to carve this weekend is rotten:-( I went to pick up to bring inside to warm up and it's totally soft! Boo! I'm not sure if it's worth going out for another one. I bet all the good ones are gone.
When are you due?
Aw, Wop, that's disappointing! Can you keep it outside (to slow the rotting) and carve it anyhow? Or is it drippy soft?
It's not drippy on the outside, but it's really soft to the touch. It looks normal on the outside, so maybe I can do something with it. Who knows, maybe it being soft will make it super easy to carve.
GoodGolly, we've never been to a Griffins game, but I know they're pretty family friendly. Have a great time!
Wop, keep the pumpkin outside, and wait as long as you can to carve, and it should be okay.
I'm roasting pumpkin seeds this morning. I was grumbling about drying the seeds off with a towel. I think I just figured out a better way. I'm sticking the next batch in the salad spinner. Genius? We'll see.
Just a heads up that Fridays are dollar beer/dollar hot dogs night. It tends to draw a lot of rowdy college kids just there for the cheap beer. The promotion goes until 8 p.m., so until then the concourses will be PACKED with people in line at the concessions, making it difficult to maneuver. I'm not saying this to deter you, just to give you a heads up. The games are a lot of fun and I do think Hudson will enjoy it. The atmosphere on Friday nights is just a little...different...than every other day. Also, it will be LOUD! so make sure that he is not startled by loud horns or things like that.
Frosty this morning is right. When I got to my Mom's to drop SS off for the bus her thermometer read 28 degree's. I think I'll be need warmer pants for the morning now. Break away track pants are not going to cut it much longer.
We are suppose to go out and visit with our friends that just moved back into town tonight and see there new home in Marne. SS & I have already seen it last weekend but DH hasn't and hasn't seen his friend in about 18 months.
We took T to a college game and he had a blast.
I think Willa and I are going to try to do this tomorrow:
Happy Friday!
I took the dogs to the dog park.
Then I did this.
I LOVE those bananas. I hope you plan on taking them in public like this. Someone out there needs to have their day brightened. It's kind of your civic duty now.
That is super cool!
Cute!!
Our Halloween party is tomorrow, but Toby will be wearing his costume to his grooming appt. later. :-)
I love the owl pumpkin!
I just realized that I don't have a due date in my siggy! I will rectify that right now! I'm due January 8th.
Hmm. I don't know about Hudson, but I personally do not like to be in super crowded places. We are driving separately, so we'll just leave if its too rowdy. Thanks for the heads up!
That's great.
