So I was not feeling right following my d and c. I thought I had came down with the flu or something on wednesday, called doctor and they said to rest it probably was the flu, then i woke up thursday morning with heavy bleeding. Apparently i should have called 911 and went to the hospital but did not know that. I waited til my doc office opened and called, they had me come right in. Apparently my pathology report came back abnormal and i had a molar pregnancy (google it), i was bleeding heavy because i had "retained products" and i was sent for an ultrasound and then rushed to the hospital for yet another d and c. So I am recovering today, still a bit crampy but feel no where near as bad as I did yesterday. My doctor used an ultrasound to be sure they got everything out.
Now I get to wait for hte rest of the lab reports to come back from Hopkins to figure out the next steps in dealing with this molar pregnancy crap. apparently it happens to 1 in 1000 people and of course it had to be me.
I am done with being poked and prodded for a LONG time.
Oh yeah to make matters worse when I was getting the ultrasound yesterday there was an entrance to the U/S room from the bathroom (makes it easier to clean yourself up after getting probed), anyway door is clearly labelled and two different people walked in the exam room as i was laying there spread eagle being probed, it was wonderful. Lucky for them I felt so horrible so I could not yell the explatives that I wanted too at them.

No offense taken here. I wondered what was going on with you from your FB posts, it seemed like more than a D&C.
I have never heard of a molar pregnancy but I googled it before I even read the rest of your post. Wow - 1 in 1000 is crazy.
I'm so sorry you've had to go through this. I hope you are on the mend, both mentally/emotionally and physically asap.

Thanks again girls. I'm going to be poked and prodded for the next 6 months to a year according to my doctor. They have to monitor levels of something in my body due to the molar pregnancy. Now just patiently waiting for the pathology reports to come back.
I'm still a tad crampy if I walk around too much but for the most part I'm a ton better than I was at this point last week.
