we need lots of good thoughts today...hercules has his lump removal surgery today, and old-dogs going under anesthesia is high risk..so let's get some good thoughts for the best. also babypicks has her doctors appt today to ensure that she is doing wonderfully and she could use some love today too. nestie love, t&p's, prayers, wishes, everything...they work. so let's keep them coming.

my parents come home from their month-long vacay this weekend...and while i'm excited to show my momma how much i've grown in the last month...i'm really sad their kitty will be going home Sad i love their kitty, even though i'm deathly allergic to him, i love him...he's so cuddly, and lovey.

Good thoughts to Hercules and family and the Picks family.

I'm at work and would really like to leave very early today, but I don't know if I will. Last night was not a good night and I just feel like I need to get some things done and I can't do those here at work. Technically I only have sick leave, so I can't really take time off unless I am sick.

No plans for the weekend. I'd like to bake a lot and hopefully I will have the time to do that.

Yay Friday!! I'm on the bus to work right now. I'm annoyed with all of the traffic on the east side of 520 past the bridge with the construction work they're doing.

Tomorrow I'm going to bake and decorate Halloween cookies to send to our sisters and bring to a party. We also have a Halloween party on Sat night which should be fun.

I'll probably leave work around 4 today, maybe slightly before because it's trick or treat day in my office and traffic gets ridiculous.

Oh and that hoa issue got resolved for now. The other director on the board agreed the line should be removed from the minutes and we'll be talking about it at our next meeting.

I'm so glad it's Friday. I got a massage last night, which was great, but apparently I was a hot mess and needed a lot of work. The girl I go to is pretty strong and she knows I'm fine with pretty firm pressure, so she wasn't shy about it last night. Today I feel like I got hit by a bus. But in a good way of course!

Tomorrow, I'm planning to go to a running/nutrition clinic over at Greenlake, then possibly hit Pike Place afterward. I know the traffic is probably going to be obscene from the viaduct closure, but I have a couple groupons for vendors at Pike's and I really want to use them! Tomorrow night is a friend's halloween party. I'm supposed to bake cupcakes, so I should probably get on that tonight.

Prayers for H and Picks. Please keep us updated ladies.

I LOVE Fridays for so many reasons. Today, my favorite reason is that my weigh in was this morning so I can treat myself a little today. I was STARVING yesterday. My weigh in wasn't great, but it was down .2, and that's more than I was expecting. I lost 3.2 last week, so a combined 3.4 for two weeks isn't anything to turn my nose up at.

We are having a family over from church tonight with a boy just about 9 month younger than Tman and a 3 year old. We are going to have pizza and watch a movie. I have made tons of Halloween-ish treats. I'm looking forward to that, but have to somehow get my house clean while babysitting a 14 month old.

Tomorrow Tman has a "break-a-thon" at karate where they break boards for St. Jude's. He's donating $3 from his piggy bank on top of the donations he's received. I think that's pretty sweet. After that, we are going to a friend's house to watch UFC (I think that's what it is). Well, James is going to watch, I'm going to chat with the ladies.

Blah.I was so excited for Friday until a few minutes ago. I just found out my childhood best friend's dad died. He was only 53.

I was excited to share news that I got some leads on some jobs.. but it seems petty at the moment.

FWIW, i watched shrek's halloween by myself last year..in the dark...and i was terrified. the remote was on the couch on the other side of the room..and i couldn't do anything but hide underneath my blanket.

i'm sort of lame. i know. it probably isn't scary at all.

Good thoughts & vibes to Hercules!

Doing some prepwork on my Halloween Costume today. It's late, but I haven't been feeling like it earlier in the week, so.... oh, well! The husband and I need to make a stop at Creation Station tomorrow for parts for it, too, heh, and the party is Saturday night. Oh, well!

That's about it for exciting around these parts.

Sending lots of Nestie vibes to Hercules and Baby M!

This morning might as well be Friday the 13th, the way my luck has been going (the rest of the paragraph is a huge rant, feel free to skip). H accidentally dropped my pastry breakfast on floor this morning, so I got to eat PLAIN BORING oatmeal instead. Then my foundation blew up on my PJ T-shirt when I was getting ready, so that ate up a little bit of time. Oh, I also have a HUGE, deep, painful zit on my chin, so that's awesome Angry . And I found out I was out of black socks (time for laundry), so I'm wearing funky purple striped socks instead... at least it's casual Friday and College colors day. And then I was running late, so I missed my bus, and had to take a later one. But I did get to take my dog on an extended walk with my extra 20 minutes, and the crisp morning air helped me relax. But, then I come to office and find a really passive aggressive email in my inbox from my manager... not a great way to start the day Crying

TGIF, and I plan on having a great weekend with 1 Halloween party and 2 football games!

Ugh - I am just getting going, I am never going to be able to get back into my 5:30am routine! Happy note, My mom is taking me to lunch today and then some friends are coming over this evening. Other than that we are going to take this weekend as it comes, I am still on crutches for long distances so no dancing or football games for me! Also..., I finally ordered our wedding prints! I am going to work on our thank you books this weekend.
