PIP: Guess who >two celebrities< I saw at Occupy Wall Street?
Ok.. technically my friends who I was with really saw them. I was in NYC last weekend for my birthday. The BF wanted to go through Wall Street. So, we passed the protest. Definitely interesting. Lots of protesters and police. Police telling us to move along, which we did. In the process, our group gets separated. When we all meet up, BFF's hubby was like "LOOK! We saw Russell Simmons! I reached up to take a pic of him.. and this guy rode through on his bike.. I think he's a celebrity too!" I'm like.. "No way... come on. Let's see it!" And what do you know? Russell Brand rode through on his bike, gave Russell Simmons a handshake, all in one pic! Haha who would have thought that one random pic at Occupy Wall Street would contain TWO famous Russells!?!

And to drip even further in irony--though I'm not sure of this, I'd venture a guess that his record label, and most of the rest of his ventures are publicly held companies. Meaning, he's making lots of money on wall street.
