I'm an idiot - Dentists abroad
It's 3:41 and I've been up for the last 2 hours with terrible tooth pain.
I've let it go far too long thinking "It'll go away" since it usually does. I've been to the doctor plenty of times in Spain but I've never been to the dentist. I didn't go this week because I've been too much of a wimp. So, now, it's Saturday morning early and it's a holiday weekend here. I'm praying someone will find an opening for me at some point today - I can't deal with this much longer! 600mg of ibuprofen isn't even working.
C'mon Spain, please let someone be working on a Saturday!

oh you poor thing. There is NOTHING like tooth pain.
Worse case scenario could you go to the emergency room? I know here they would see you and at least do something for the pain until you can get to a dentist.
I just took another ibuprofen and am rocking the frozen peas look.
We'll see what happens tomorrow. There's a "chain" dentistry place nearby and I'm going to give them a try. Worst case scenario I'll go to the hospital but since I'm still on private insurance that means going to Bilbao - 40 mins from home. Whatever it takes!

I am deeply sympathetic. And you just prompted me to put a reminder on my calendar to make a dentist appointment.
A farmacia hooked me up - but even that didn't work!
Dentists were closed today so we ended up going to the hospital. They shot me up with goodness knows what and gave me a different prescription and it's "let's see if this holds you over until Monday" time.
I'm glad you got some relief and hope you can get to a dentist really soon.
