Hi ladies,
Apparently I've lost the ability to sleep in, even though I have a very tired and sleepy boy on my hands I am still up.
Today is our final post placement visit. S is working all day today like from 7am-3pm and then again 10pm-4am. which means I'm going to be on my own today.
Anyone doing anything cool today?

One of my best friends is having a pumpkin carving party this afternoon. It is two hours away from me, but I usually go. However, we are apparently getting a Nor'Easter today with 5-8 inches starting this afternoon/evening and I don't really want to get caught on the roads in the first big snowstorm--people are always idiots in the first snow...especially in October when no one has put on snow tires yet. I am debating bailing.
If I don't go, I am still going to need to carve a pumpkin or two because I don't decorate my house for Halloween and I think we at least need a couple pumpkins. Also, I need to do a short run...which I think I am going to do outside even though it is frigid out...because if we get a lot of snow I will be stuck on the treadmill all next week.
Oh...and Ed got a new free iPad yesterday...an incentive from a rep who is looking for his company to go through them for new equipment...so I have been playing with that this morning! Fun! I may have to borrow it to take notes at my conference on Monday...

Nothing too exciting for me today. On Thursday night I had a really hard time sleeping (was up from 3am to 5am) so I was in bed at 9:30 last night and slept really well.
Hoping I have good energy today because I want to do my dishes, put my laundry away and try to get a run in before we go to my Dad's for dinner. If it works out, I will go to my nephews hockey game before dinner. There is nothing cuter than a whole bunch of 5 year olds playing hockey.
I was supposed to go for my long run today but the weather is pretty yucky so I may have to wait until tomorrow.
Also tonight I am suddenly going to get some kind of flu or stomach virus requiring me to call out of work. Then I will miraculously recover and head to my friend's house for her birthday/housewarming party where there will be rum. I don't usually call out for no reason, but this will be the last time she and I hang out before I move so it's worth it.
If only we were going to the same party, I would brave the storm

Our snow is gone, and it's going to be 63* today. Got to get out and hike.
My daughter woke us up when she came home, so I was awake from 2 to 430. Thanks, darling! I always make all the noise I want when we get up just to pay her back.

Good Morning!
Today I have a bunch of stuff to do. I have to clean my house from top to bottom again. It gets so messy so quickly with two boys running around.
I also have to go to the flea market and pick up some things that DH ordered last weekend. Fun. Then I have to run over to Michael's and pick up some fancy and fun paper for the Mad Hatter Tea party invitations I'm working on for a friends bridal shower.
I won't be around tomorrow. I'm going to my older sisters house for the day to hang out with her and my younger sister. This will (sadly) be the first time we have been together since my wedding. We all live in different towns and cities so it's a bit hard to get together. My brother has to work so he can't make it.
Today is my last day of nannying. I am taking care of my little lady for two hours and then I am going for dinner with my MIL and after we are going to a Disney Magic Symphony. I am looking forward to lunch, we are going to a Thai Noodle place.
I am almost done my costume and plan to use this afternoon to build Ben's costume. I am being Raggedy Anne and he is being the Matt Smith Doctor Who!

I am sitting on the couch watching tv and looking at pumpkin recipes. I should be doing something more productive like cleaning, homework, or grad school applications. I really think that I am going through a crisis. I don't know what I want to do. I am really hoping that I just don't like this job/agency and it isn't because I don't want to be a social worker. I don't know what to do.
I am going out tonight with friends. I don't know if I am going as anything but C is going as hipster. It is going to be great. He is planning on going all out and requesting songs to the DJ of made up bands and then act snooty when they have heard of then. He is also only drinking pabst.
Today me and my Mini terrorized the streets. I love driving that car. I went shopping and bought 2 new dresses and some make up from Sephora.
Tonight I'm going to see Fitz and the Tantrums and dinner with a friend. I can't wait.
Dh got to do something super cool today. His Dad took him and his brother to the Atlanta Motor speedway and they got to drive around in a race car around the track at 150 mph. I am totally jealous. I would love to do something like that but am really happy Dh, his dad and brother got to hang out.
That is the best costume I've ever heard of.
