I need underwear help for BCT
I am getting my stuff together for BCT. I am getting white cotton boy shorts for underwear as you guys suggested before.
I cannot find a sports bra. Does anyone know where I can find a solid white sports bra that will fit a 34A with some padding? The padding is not for size but to prevent nipples from showing after 2 kids I cannot wear a bra without padding or I will have serious nipple problems even with loose shirts. (Sorry, for the TMI I just wanted to make it known I am not being stupid and trying to look bigger while at BCT).
Also, can my regular bra for under class A's have lace on it if it is a solid color? Just asking because all of the ones I currently own have some lace on the side (VS Angel bras) I need to know if I have to buy new ones. Do I need to take 2 or just 1?

I wouldn't worry about it. Pack super light. They'll give you X amount of dollars and take you to the PX to get all the stuff you need. I took a back pack worth of overnight stuff and that was it. This was 6 years ago but I think it's pretty much the same.
For class a's, get a bra that you'll always wear. Otherwise it messes up your ribbons every.single.time. I have just a plain nude one.
like the other person said. they will give you an eagle cash card to buy all that stuff. Pack light because I remember when I went to basic, they made us hold our bags over our head while we waited to be assigned to a platoon. I would only bring a few pairs of panties, and 2 regular bras. they'll take you to get all of the other stuff a few days after you get there.
I wouldnt choose a bra with lace, and also like the other poster said...make sure the bra you wear when you're setting up your ribbons is the same one you wear on graduation day. because they will shift around if you wear a different bra the next time.

If I remember correctly from certain DI friends and depending on where you go, they will not let you wear what you bring. One of my good friends was a Drill Sgt at Lenordwood and she had all her iet's put everything in a bag and locked it up. One big reason is well you are going to have theives and well she had people steal dirty underwear. All her iet's were made to get white granny panties, and white cotton sports bras. They only way around it was going to sick call and getting a profile. Do you really want a profile that soon in basic? Another reason is it can cause fights, everyone has to be uniform (looking the same) and having a person have something different is going to make it seem like you are too good for it. (not saying you are).
I would advise you to wait to you are there and get what they tell you, 0 day is not going to be fun as it is.
Most sports bras are pretty well lined. Also, with the lining, if they have a proper, snug fit, you shouldn't have the issue with your nipples.
I'm on the same page with BLT, though. The only things I was allowed to keep were my hygiene items, tampons, the nude bra for under my Class A's, and my Bible. I had to buy all new sports bras (except the one I was wearing), underwear and socks.
